★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A.A.S (Absolutely Amazing Staff) is the acronym I would use to really sum up my experience at Build A Bear. They even complimented my Naruto shoes ? Overall a good store, but the staff really make it shine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place for kids. Has an excellent selection with very good customer service. Would say they treat bears as living creatures. The variety of stuffed toys is great. The kids will definitely enjoy the whole stuffing of the bear and I am sure the adults will to. But beware parents u can spend a lot in a very short amount of time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called them prior to coming and they said they were open till 7. They shut the doors 40 minutes prior to closure and refused to let us enter even though people were rapidly leaving.
The manager Makayla was rude and condescending.
Utterly terrible experience for what should have been a magical experience for my little kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into build a bear a couple weeks ago, the experience was awful nobody greeted me and said hello. I’ve been to the square one location multiple times. The last time I went the worker Nathy was very ignorant and made me feel uncomfortable. The store manager is just as confused as the staff. The workers at this location don’t know the policies. I wanted to make a purchase and the way they treated me was disappointing absolutely no help. Will never go back to this store based on my experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some workers their look like they hate their job or not jolly enough, which surprises me, because it’s a kids store, you’ll expect it to have employees be acting happy, especially in a place like this, and plus, they had good reviews in Mississauga, so I thought it would be a good experience (maybe they hired new employees that’s why my experience wasn’t good). And while BAB said you can re-stuff your bear or put different scents in your bear if the scent wears off or when the voice is out of battery you can take it to BAB, some employees their are lazy or act like they don’t know the policy. One employee said she couldn’t open the bear because of the stitching, which is stupid, because I believe they were trained how to open the bear. They should hire people who can interact with kids and know BAB policies. Nothing against BAB, but this store need better employees! And they don’t allow you to step on the peddle, which they should, I seen other BAB allow customers to do, that’s one of the experience BAB are known for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do they really roll eyes to their customers? One of their staffs don't really like to answer my questions, when she really started to answer, she rolled eyes to me as if I asked a really stupid question.
Plush from BAB is in great quality, but their employees are not polite to customers. Like a fancy meal put in a dirty plate.
BTW, if you decide to buy a particular item, a plush, an outfit or scent, call them before you come. Some of them are not always in stock.
That's why I give 3 stars, we enjoy the plush but not the experience there

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A definite 5 star experience at the Build a Bear Workshop in Mississauga. Customer service is great. The workers make sure you are taken care of by offering their assistance. It restored my faith in the Build a Bear concept of providing a fun and enjoyable experience after the poor experience I had at the Hamilton location where I live. When I saw the great reviews at the Mississauga location, I decided to go 45 minutes out of my way to experience what should have been enjoyable in Hamilton. I just want to express my appreciation to the staff for their effort that they put into to make their customers feel appreciated and respected; something I did not feel at the Hamilton location. I will be back as a result.
