I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Budget for my recent rental. When booking i specifically confirmed that I could drop off the vehicle and keys using the drop box same day after hours and would not be charged another day. This was not the case. I rushed to get the vehicle back within an hour of closing time only to be charged an extra day anyway. We were travelling to New York and had specifically requested a car to minimize our gas expenses but instead were given a small SUV which doubled my gas charges. When I called to discuss the extra day and the extra gas charge I was basically told too bad and i should be grateful for the extra space in the car. I feel that the manager I spoke to did not care about my concerns and was basically looking to profit an extra day. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received and will not be using them again.

1- Didn't want to honor corporate discount, says policy changed and didn't want to show any proof with a written documentation. 2- Syed Iqbal the Branch manager saying "I am the Authority here and I don't have any documents to show" not knowing he is an employee that has to abide by the corporate rules and policies at Budget and not its Owner! 3- Potholes and really bad parking lot that not only damage customer's personal cars but Budget's own rentals 4- Very Rude and Unprofessional customer service that don't have respect to loyal customers Beware of this place. Terrible service, office and parking are a mess. Should be closed down if Budget want to keep their good reputation!

Rented a car called and said I’d need it for another day sneakily they didn’t say that they were closed on weekend so you’d be charged for having car entire weekend even though you returned it Saturday. They don’t call you to confirm what they’re charging your card just go ahead and charge it. Then when you call they’re rude on the phone like you should’ve known they were closed and would be charged. Don’t rent here Bad customer service and very sneaky to make more money.

I had the worst experience in all my years of renting cars. I booked online using their mobile app and wanted to clarify some issues. At the time of booking when it was time to collect the car my credit card in file had expired. I called to speak with 3 different reps to get assistance and was told that I would not have any trouble getting the car with my debit visa. On arrival I handed the clerk my debit visa and my identification. He processed my card and even upgraded me to a different car. After processing my card for $150 and also putting a $250 hold on it he said he can't use this card. I was utterly confused as to why he couldn't use the card when I was told by multiple agents that debit visa cards are accepted. The fact that the card waa processed and now he was trying to figure out how to reverse it was the most confusing. I asked why he can't use the card, he says budget accepts debit cards but this location doesn't. It was altogether a frustratingly annoying process. The card waa processed already and I then had to return to my hotel using Uber 2x. The staff was not helpful and the customer service agent who took the call after was very nonchalant and said he doesn't know who gave me the info but it's wrong. I wanted to rent the vehicle for 24 hours and was gravely inconvenienced by their failure to provide accurate information on multiple occasions prior to my booking. Just be prepared to deal with non-existent customer service at this location. I think all customers are important and should be treated better because of a global policy that one franchisee doesn't honor.

Staff at counter lacked basic interpersonal communication skills. The customer prior to me needed something clarified, but the employee told another staff member that "he is fighting with me". I was shocked at how he described it, and unnecessarily escalated the situation. The parking lot has a huge crater pothole, could've damaged my car or the rental. I was charged an extra day on my rental because I returned it after hours, which is new to me, but alas the policy states that so I can give them that. But my caveat is that the employee kept it vague, he said just drop it off and the next day I will get back to you even though I specifically asked him will you charge me for 3 days or 4 days? To which his response was again, just drop it off and I will get back to you tomorrow. Like who hires these guys with poor customer service / communication skills? The detailer who reviewed the vehicle with me was kind and a pleasure to communicate with. But the front staff needs serious training.

I will definitely be back. Service is amazing here. Syed, who is the branch manager and his colleague Fuwaad, were so polite and helpful. They made sure I received the car of my chose. This was my first experience with budget and I’m very pleased we decided to come here. Thank you for all your help. Love from the south!

You guys really made my day easy. The budget location in Brampton @ Kennedy road was the worst business I've ever walked into. You guys were half the price for an upgraded vehicle and you rented me a brand new Ford Escape. Literally you guys saved the company budget for me. Thank you

Just had the worst experience at this location today! my rental wasn't ready on time and I needed to wait for 45 mins to get my rental ready. one of the staff was very rude and disrespectful instead of being apologetical. despite I've been Mistreated I haven't been thanked to my business when I returned the vechile. I don't recommend this location nor this company. ENTERPRISE is much more wayyyyyy better. I will definitely give my business to them next time.
