Had an amazing experience with this location! Very transparent and willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of. Constant communication with updates of vehicle progress and more than willing to help answer any questions. Above all, the work they do is top-notch! Your attention to detail and attitude towards superior customer service is greatly appreciated!

Worst body shop ever, over estimate the problem change things that should not and at the end you will lose your car. If you have claim avoid them. for a minor dent on the side , their estimate was 2600 with labor 3000, they want to change the bumper that has not even a scratch and was not part of the claim, they keep adding up and as a result the insurance company wrote off my car, they just rip you off. it was not my fault , the other party accept the claim and due to the very high estimate i lost my car. You want to use their service be prepared to lose your car. I gave them one star because there is nothing less than one star. THE WORST BODY SHOP EVER

It was a bad experience with Boyd Autobody Calgary royal oak location. My 2013 Subaru Outback was tailed and the cost of reprair is almost $9,000. When I pickup the β€œrepaired” car, there were two tail lights were not working while the car till had not leave the parking lot. Unfortunately no body at the office after I returned the rental car. I phoned the shop next day and they agree to let me took the car somewhere to get it fixed because the shop has no off-hour services. When I get the two bulbs changed at another shop, then they told me the two burned bulbs have nothing to do with their repairing. They are not responsible for the $60 cost. Come on, you should have changed the burned bulbs at first place! This is my reply: Dear Shop: I am expecting the car came out of your shop should be at least visibly acceptable. There were two rear lights were not working as the car being released from your shop. You may argue the bulb burn out as I start the car. However, there is no chance two light bulbs burn out at the same time when I start the car. Even so, an reputable shop would responsible for the results because it just came out of your shop directly (actually it was still on your property, your parking lot). This burned bulbs due to rear collision should be replaced when you replace the light assembly.

My car came into Boyd with the front end stove'd right in! I work on construction sites and the car was filthy inside and out. Boyd had a rental car ready for me by the time I checked out and took care of everything. When I got my car back they detailed the car inside and out. Car looks amazing. Thanks guys. Car parts are expensive but I just had to pay my deductible. From the Front desk to the back shop they were very professional and that is why I chose Boyd now for a second time.

Work was great, blended the paint nicely, cant see the dent anymore. Only thing I wasnt impressed with, was the estimated date to the actual amount of time they kept my car. They told me 5 days repairs would be done, ended up keeping my car for almost 12 days.

They were great to deal with. I had 2 major repairs within about a year and they did a great job. They were also very accommodating with being able to stop by and have my sunroof taped up with no notice. They were quick, affordable and the people were really nice to deal with.

After my accident my insurance company lost my non driveable twice. The first time the original auto body shop didn't realize the car was in the lot, it took over two weeks for them to provide an estimate after they found the car. I was frustrated so I asked my awesome mechanic which body shop he would recommend. He told me Boyd's Autobody in Royal Oak. So I called them asked if I could move my car over, they said sure, no problem when to expect the car, a 2008 Toyota Highlander with front end damage. The first auto body shop argued with me about moving the car, then they told me I had to pay some fees, I had to argue to about the fees since I had not signed off on anything. The original body shop told me they would get the car to Boyd's. Instead they lost my car again, delaying repairs almost 3 weeks. And my insurance money for the rental was running out in 5 days. Boyd's greeted me at the front, explained they would find my car, looked at the estimate and told me in all likelihood it would take until 10 days to fix the car up, realistically until the end of the month, long past when my money for the rental ran out. I was pretty angry at the original shop. Boyd's called me, told me that no problem, they found my car it was taken to the shop, they would get on it as fast as they could. I meanwhile argued with insurance about my rental citing unreasonable delays and I would either have to sue the insurance company for the extra days or they had to figure it out. The insurance company figured it out. Not that it mattered, after doing a preliminary estimate and listening to my concerns, the manager noted each thing, and said they would take care of my car. And they did everything on the day my insurance rental money ran out, completing the work almost 13 days ahead of schedule. The manager did a walk around with me, explained the work, explained the lifetime warranty on the work and told me that if I had any additional issues that came up with my car, they would handle it directly. What I'm saying is this; of all the body shops I've been at, I have never been treated this well, made to feel as if I mattered in the repair process, got the repair done well beyond the schedule they set out, and more importantly the front desk staff touched base 4 times in 1 week to update the work on the car. Coffee and beverages at the front, a nice waiting room and great staff, I will never again go anywhere else to get my cars fixed, this is the best shop I've ever been to (not that I've been to too many, but the 4 in Calgary I've had to deal with to get estimates or work done, this shop came through and made a frustrating experience easy). The best part was that I don't know what I should be doing, how the process works and not even sure what I can demand to make my car run as if perfect again and Boyd's took the time to hand hold me through the process. Great work on the car, great service, and I've booked my windshield work in the Spring of 2020, I will take my project car to get painted there, and my wife's summer cruiser to get a paint touch up and detail in the summer. Thank you so very much for being a fantastic set of people!

1.) estimate was 1790 and actual cost to repair 4200. Bad in estimate and inflated repair cost because other party accepted fault in my opinion . I have estimates from 2 others with less than 2000. 2.) took 18 days to repair my car against 5 days . Called me to pick vehicle after 12 days but when I started the vehicle , there were multiple dashboard errors( pictures attached).took another 6 days to repair that programming. 3.) no one came to escort me to my vehicle . Only gave me keys . 4.) i specifically told them over every call and in person to keep every part they will replace . 5.)Greg(general manager) was not apologetic but arrogant on the parts discussion. He said his time is more precious than mine and don’t owe me explanation. 6.) Brad is an awesome guy and very genuine . He handled the situation after Greg and well done Brad. 7.)perfect points for vehicle cleaning interior and exterior . 8.) attaches pictures and see the condition of my car after collision , does it look like 4200 repair ?
