β β β β β On Friday we biked from the NW to the East Village and noticed I had a flat. By good fortune we were at the recently opened Bow Cycle E-Bikes so I decided to drop in and was greeted by Larry and Derek. The bike tech Derek walked me through the process of figuring out the cause of the flat. Not only did he patch my tube but he found a small staple that would have caused problems in the future. I was very impressed with the quality of the service. While I waited, Larry shared some great information about e-bikes and fat bikes. If you are biking the bow river pathway down by the east village, I recommend you drop in and see the newest Bow Cycle location in Calgary.

β β β β β I frequently travel the bow river pathway network and yesterday my bell broke while on the path. The pathways around downtown can be really busy so i stopped to see if i could pick up a replacement. I didn't have my mask with me but the staff were able to help me through the door and bring out a bell for me. They were totally understanding and still more than willing to help me even for such a small purchase.
Keep up the good work guys!

β β β β β In 2020 during the spring when they opened back up to the public to come in (barely) they did a very poor job of providing service! they had no idea what they were doing. Long line ups! Then when you finally got in the service was terrible. Not typical I will say for bow cycle and the guys servicing our bikes. This year I was treated very badly by an employee who even lied about what he originally said!! We called the manager after the experience and they did nothing about it! said they would talk with the employee and get back to us but never did! I have bought many bikes from there and spent thousands of dollars(6 bikes in total) and to be treated by an employee with disrespect and lied about what he originally told me about getting my bike in and when it would be done! Will not be using them and telling others about my experience

β β β β β A great local bike shop with friendly staff who specialize in e-bikes. The shop, although a tad small does have a solid selection of e-bikes for purchase or rental, in addition to parts and bike gear. Overall, no complaints and would recommend as a great place to look for e-bikes if your in the market for one

β β β β β I recently purchased a rear tire rack for my bike from Bow Cycle in East Village. Well, I guess I'm here to admit I'm not the best at figuring out how to install rear tire racks. I sent an email to them and I got a response from Geoff who suggested I go in today. I was there at opening and my rack was installed quickly by a fellow who really knew what he was doing! Super friendly people there. I'll be back and I would recommend Bow Cycle. It's centrally located and easy parking all around! Close to great bike paths too?

β β β β β I had trouble with my gears on the road bike. So I have taken into the shop and, the technician has given full inspections. Also with some advice on how to change gears and some recommendations on how to ride in what gear, not cross gearing.
In the end, he did not charge me! Saying that he did do much on hand, I think it was awesome about learning new things. I appreciated their help.
