Blonde Brunette Hair Studio - Edmonton

I went there with a low expectation of success to pass from 20 years of black dye (with a recent fail home attempt at getting my hair lighter) to a hashy brown with grey highlights on the thickest, longest hair you can imagine... what can I say, I'm getting older and wanted to see if i could find a way to say bye to the consistent dyeing jobs. I communicated with Renée a few times, the owner. She is soo friendly and helpful. She was able to pin down my needs. She first directed me to Sarah who was amazing to me. I saw her for a consult and so helpful in explaining what would be the process to get what I wanted. Renée finally referred me to Kat who had an opening in her schedule (as I obviously wanted it done "yesterday" like any good customers). Kat knows what she's talking about! She booked me in as her only customer that day and was even able to get me in earlier on my appointment time when I managed to leave work early. She explained to me the best and worst case scenarios when trying to make this kind of drastic change. When it was clear that she knew what i was going for, I told her to let her creativity take over and she did an absolutely fantastic job. She patiently and relentlessly worked for hours (6.5+!!) in making sure to maintain the health and integrity of my hair all while avoiding to leave me with any red tones (my pet peeve). She finally left me with a color that is even better than what I was hoping for. I am now looking forwards to watch my roots grow smoothly and painlessly. I am even looking forward to see my gray hair come through! And if that wasn't enough, she set my color up so it will be "easy" for us to integrate even more light tones without causing extra damage to my hair if we choose to do so in the future. As far as the price... for the amount of work and time spent, I definitely have no complaints. Thank you so much!

After several attempts to find a stylist that truly understood what I was after, I found Blonde Brunette, more importantly Kat , quite by accident. Hidden behind Sicilian Pasta Kitchen on Jasper, you’ll find Blonde Brunette. A cool salon, with a minimalist, inviting atmosphere. Lots of free parking making it super convenient - it’s just not readily visible from Jasper Avenue, it’s very easy to miss. If you’re as passionate and / or particular about your hair, as I am , you’ll definitely enjoy Kat. She takes the time listen and understand what you want to do with your hair . She asks questions and’s reaffirms - so that everyone is on the same page before starting. You never feel rushed or made to feel like just another client. Results ? Fantastic! Really pleased with both the experience and the results.

It was fun! After moving from another city, I was looking for a new stylist. Browsing online I found Burnett Blonde hair salon and I was lucky enough to make an appointment with Kat. She is super sweet, professional and most importantly expert in hair colors and highlights. She took her time to understand what is my expectation and she easily could make it happen. It was a very fun appointment! I felt I am meeting a close friend who is an exceptional stylist! I will be definitely back to her and I am so happy that I could find my new stylist!
