★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came to celebrate a birthday and Alex had balloons on a nicely decorated table. We ordered 9 dishes and they were prepared tasting fresh and hot, and not too salty. The mango dessert in the shape of a fish was a nice touch. Service is always friendly and attentive. I wish this restaurant was closer to home so we could frequent it more. Will definitely be back to enjoy more delicious food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great! You get great value for your dollar and the quality is great! Very tasty good. I will routinely order a "dinner for two" for myself, and get 3 meals out of it. Not my proudest statement, but a testament to the quantity and quality of food you receive.

Ordered dinner for 2 with chicken balls and ginger beef and an extra mixed special chow mein.
The wonton soup was the highlight (not saying much) but was over seasoned and way too salty. Spring rolls are best described as tiny (maybe 2 inches long) wrapped with a smattering of filling, and deep fried. Ginger Beef was soggy and didn’t taste like ginger or beef at all. Was like little pieces of rubbery breaded bread with hardly any sauce on it and when you ripped into it, whatever the meat is inside, doesn’t look like beef at all.
Chicken balls tasted like paste and I’m not even sure they were cooked properly once I cracked it open. Chicken fried rice might as well have been steamed it was so bland. Mixed special chow mein was over cooked and rubbery tasting with no flavour either and the quantity of noodles was abysmal compared to what we get elsewhere for the same price or less.
Had hoped for leftovers for next day but will be tossing everything. I couldn’t even finish my plate and ate something else. Not what you hope for when dropping 70 bucks on Chinese food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Blue Orchid for Mother’s Day. The restaurant was busy with plenty of diners and to-go orders. Despite this, the service was fast and the food came out quickly. The food was excellent— our table of 5 shared the XO fried rice, peach shrimp, platters of huge tiger prawns, muscles, and grouper, the beef tenderloin stir fry in black bean sauce, and crispy roasted chicken. The servings were generous and the flavours were fresh. Each of us had a different favourite dish on the table and walked away stuffed and pleased. Thanks for the great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food with generous portions and great value combined with consistent excellent service. I love coming to this restaurant. My favorite is the beef brisket on rice rolls and my nephews always insist on having the green onion cakes and deep fried spring rolls. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Besides the soup, rice and ice cream (maple walnut ??), we got to pick two dishes. We went with a Cantonese meat dish - beef brisket & radish hot pot and a northern Chinese staple - stir fried cabbage.
WILL NOT DISAPPOINT!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the dinner for two delivered. Packed well. Came with a good amount of sauce. The food was really delicious! A good amount of crisp veggies, and a really nice savory won ton broth. The won ton soup came with a good amount of wontons. I ordered green onion cakes as well and WOW!!! They were the most oniony green onion cakes I've ever gotten and I was blown away. So good. I need to order again just to see if the green onion cakes are always like that. Great experience all around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down the best Chinese food I've ever had! The deep fried pork chop (pictured) and yum yum shrimp are absolute MUST HAVES. They always come out ultra flavourful, CRISPY AND JUICY! Our server Alex was super friendly and knowledgeable and even gave our mom a mother's day balloon. What a nice touch! Will definitely be coming back. ??
