Best shop for a personalized experience. Awesome kit. Cool brands. Custom bike options. So many great people who love bikes and who make time to help. I never feel dumb when I ask questions and always leave feeling like I’ve had a fun bike shop experience. Thanks Brian, Jesse, Matt, Mike, and Virginie!

Bumped into Mike in a local coffee shop on Roncy and was happy to find a bike shop within walking distance. When it was time to upgrade my components on my vintage Colnago I dropped by Blacksmith and discovered what a lot of Toronto's cyclists know - Blacksmith Cycle is mecca for anyone with a passion for bikes. Mike and Brian helped tailor the upgrade with a bike fitting and expertise on the right parts and Matt and Jesse provided the tweaks to bring everything together. Thanks guys.

For custom bikes, and that includes standard frames, they are the very best game in town. They have access to parts that others seldom have, and furthermore that have very reasonable pricing. I asked for several quotes for my Litespeed Titanium build and they were the most cost effective and the only ones with immediate availability of GRX and Hunt wheels. Top notch!

I recently ordered a Canyon bike from Germany and was seeking a bike shop to build it for me and also set it up for my physical measurements.Β  I live 3-4 hrs. from any local bike shop and had contacted shops in Oshawa and as far away as Ottawa but none could accommodate me.Β  I came across Blacksmith Cycles while looking at online custom bikes from Cherubim.Β  I contacted Brian and he fit me into his schedule right away.Β  My customer experience with Brian demonstrated to me why Blacksmith is rated so highly.Β  It became apparent that the customer relationship is of the highest value to Brian and his staff.Β  The mechanical setup and personalized bike fit was to perfection.Β  Brian's genuine personality is what impressed me the most.Β  Thanks to Brian, Matt, Jesse and Mike for the awesome experience.

It was in 2019 that I came accross this shop online and tried visiting them for my project build Ti road bike, best decission I ever made. They can get you literally almost any bike parts to complete your dream bike build. And on top of that, the people behind this bike shop are awesome and really take good care of me for what I need. They even go above and beyond to my recent request that I think no bike shop could ever done it. Huge thanks to the owner, Mike and to his staff Matt, Brian & Jessie. They build 2 of my bikes like a sculpted work of art.

Blacksmith Cycle is second to none, from introduction to execution this shop helped me find a bike within my range, fit me, and educate me. Mike and his team were patient and helpful throughout the process, introducing me to a world I really knew nothing about. The store itself is a cyclist's dream. The walls are decorated with beautiful, one of a kind frames. The selection of parts, wheels and accessories are curated perfectly to the underlying theme, if you can dream it they can build it. I can't thank them enough for my experience. If you're considering entering this world, I can't think of a better place to be.

I first heard of Blacksmith Cycle through word of mouth. A good friend and avid cycling junkie told me that there is no other place I should even consider in the city. At the time, I was already engaged in a full on carbon road build at another shop, however, I started doing my research by occasionally going in to Blacksmith for bits and pieces, here and there. Pretty soon after, I was convinced that I "needed" to build a new bike, but this time, I wanted the Blacksmith experience. Experience - being the operative word. The whole vibe of getting a bike from Blacksmith is very much experiential. The notion of just simply pulling something shiny and expensive off the wall and slapping it together just to get you out the door does not exist there. These guys go to the drawing board right away. They firstly get to know what you're looking for, then educate you, fit you, present you with options and guide you in the right direction and support you through the entire process. Start to finish. I was dead set on getting a Wilier, and even though it is not a brand that they typically carry, the owner was able to source one for me - so if you have a very specific dream build, they can make it happen. Overall they focus on the custom, rare and bespoke. No corners cut, no shortcuts taken. After-sale service is amazing too. If you're looking to get anything bike related, I literally cannot recommend an alternative. It's a small team that does top caliber work under massive demand, so be patient with them. This is what makes Blacksmith a tier above the rest.

I had just a great experience with Blacksmith. I recently purchased a new set of wheels from them and when I brought my bike in for the install they offered to make some cosmetic changes (cut down steer tube, clean up cables, adjust saddle) on the house. Super friendly and super helpful. Big thanks Blacksmith Cycle :)
