★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got new tires on my truck, and entitling was perfect! They also did a full service diagnostic with an oil change with the tire swap. It was great!
They were also able to take care of a bunch of front end issues that I had and fixed my four wheel drive. They tied in fixing my leaky fuel pump and filter at the same time as the rear seal on my transfer case so that they didn’t double up on removal work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got my new tires put on my rims/balanced 2 days ago. When I picked my car up I drove it the less than 1 km home and is was parked in my garage till this morning when I was to head to Vernon. Within 20 km of driving the car started making an intermittent horrible noise. I got out of my car and visually checked all tires and all looked ok. I cancelled my trip and drove home. Once I arrived home I was missing 2 lug nuts on the front drivers side and 2 of the remaining lug nuts were so loose they could be hand tightened. My husband then torqued all the rest of lug nuts on the car and there were 3 other incredibly loose ones. I called in asking for the 2 lost custom lug nuts to be replaced. I then sent my husband in with a lug nut for reference to ensure we got the correct ones. The gentleman that got the lug nuts for my husband said "it's your lucky day, I have 2 here." I do not think this employee realized that their error could have had fatal consequences. No professionalism there or ownership of the error. Safety protocols need to be tightened up at this establishment. Please do better Big O Tires!
Update October 11 2021:Well it is time to change over to winter tires and although I have not frequented Big'O Tire in West Kelowna since the end of July when I almost lost a wheel due to their unsafe practices the effects of that visit live on... A lug nut was cross thread on the wheel bolt and there was no way that lug nut was coming off until it did with the bolt tightly thread in place. This occured on the opposite site of the initial issue we had back in July.

Brought my wheels and tires in for a re-balance. First wheel goes on the machine and the guy doing the job couldn't remove the weight with the pliers, so his solution was to pulverize the weight against my recently refinished aluminum wheels with a 20oz brass hammer. I raised my concern with him and he said "I know what I'm doing" Strike one! He then proceeded to add 7oz of stick on weights to the middle of the rim using a different mode on the balancer. When I said I wanted the inner and outer beads balanced separately he came over to close the shop door so I couldn't watch. Strike two! I asked to speak to his supervisor and asked him to check balance on inner and outer beads. Supervisor says "That's the way we do it." At my request they rechecked balance and the outer bead was 3.25oz out. Strike three! I was outta there! The supervisor might have full confidence in his guy's abilities, but the damage to my wheel tells a different story. Destroyed clearcoat, gouges in the aluminum, and a bent wheel lip. :(
UPDATE: So you apologize for "sending me elsewhere" but no apology for the damage you did to my wheel, and you want to talk about disappointment? Just WOW!
