E	Elliott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I stayed here for three nights on the weekend on Jan 22nd- Jan 24th. It was a great stay! The breakfast was good, the room was clean and included w eyes needed. There was a little noise on Saturday night but nothing too bad. If you’re looking for a standard, reliable, and run of the mill hotel experience then I would recommend this place.
D	D1v Zg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very satisfied with my stay! Super friendly staff would go above and beyond for you. Clean rooms with all the basics you would need. Nice breakfast. Free EV charging spots outside of the hotel (make sure to download the plugshare app with regards to the 110v plugs or the 240v). I would come back every time I go for a ski trip here in Barrie.
M	Meg Coltman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dirty room upon arriving. Was uncomfortable enough to bring it up to the front end staff. Apologies were offered and a $50 discount. The woman had the head of housekeeping go in with another cleaning woman who was apologetic. We were assured after the head of housekeeping and 2 cleaning personnel had attended room it was clean, sorry but still gross. Hairs everywhere, shampoo etc. Pics posted were after staff had attended Upon arrival there was toothpaste in the sink, pee on toilet seat and hairs all in the shower. Etc things I pointed out to the cleaning lady weren’t touched? AFTER cleaning staff was in there was orange gunk in microwave, pee around toilet and purple shampoo on shower walls. Hairs etc. Disappointed as we picked this hotel for the apparent high cleaning standards. Definitely did not experience this.
M	Melissa McComb on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m not sure how this hotel is the best rated in Barrie. The hotel is dated and the rooms showing their age. The mattress and pillows were not great and my carpet was fraying at ever edge. Maybe the positive reviews come from the customer service instead of the actual facilities. The lady at the front desk was incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful and made great restaurant recommendations. Even though the room was nothing special it was immaculately cleaned. 5 stars for the staff, 3 stars for the hotel itself.

I was there without a car and she let me check in early and stay late until my car was ready for pick up. All staff I encountered were very friendly. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. The microwave and fridge in the room was a huge plus. Breakfast had lots of variety and was very tasty. I would definitely stay there again.
E	EJTaraRosen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great size king bedroom. Really like walk-out patio door. Woman at breakfast was super friendly and always make sure everything was sanitized. Would have liked pool to be open. Found carpet freshener to strong. Close off hwy and kot far from lake and restaurants.
D	DAN DU on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything that you can ask for from a best western. They took all the proper safety precautions when checking us in. The room was conveniently located and near our car. Once we arrived in the room it was clean and well looked after. We only stayed one night but it was a great experience and would definitely recommend a visit if you are passing by Barrie. Reasonable rates, clean rooms and great services! Really can’t complain!

The rooms were cozy, the location is excellent to downtown and the highway. The security staff was polite and friendly! It was nice to see the guard patrolling the halls/stairwells as well as the parking lot upon returning from a late dinner and drinks. The security and safety of my family is very important to me and I would highly recommend this hotel on the strip as they value the safety of their guests which is important in these times. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values safety with families or that have small children. Would definitely stay here again! Amazing job Best Western! :)
