I'll be getting a new top on my Mustang in about a month. Of all the places I called Specialized was by far the most friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to getting that new top! Thanks Specialized!

Mike at Specialized Upholstery has exceptional customer service. Very honest and friendly, which is a rare quality in the auto industry. I called Mike on a Friday to see if he could fix a cigarette burn on my car seat. On the spot he gave me a quote and scheduled a time for me to arrive at his shop on the following Monday at 1:30 PM. Very prompt, even shuttled me to work and back! The hole is gone and I am happy! Payments can be done electronically through Visa, which makes life easier! Would highly recommend!

Earlier this month (March) I came back to my car and found my pet bird (a pet cockatoo who is ordinarily very well-behaved but seems to have gotten bored while I was out of the car) had chewed a massive hole in the driver's side headrest. Lexus headrests are real leather, and almost impossible to replace as a unit on earlier models. On an internet search, I found three likely repair shops that purported to be "repair" shops, but Specialized seemed the best option, so arranged to go in. Now, I'm extremely fussy and detail oriented myself; several years working as a proofreader and also in some highly detailed tech work got me tuned to seeing the tiniest imperfections. And these headrests appear to be hand-stitched and the overall work is rather intricate. Plus, nowadays many places hold themselves out to be "great quality" or "super results", etc., blah, blah (and then fail to live up to same), so it was with some hesitation I went in and spoke to them. Over the years, I've seen and learned that jobs like this can go so wrong so fast and become almost irreparable after just one attempt at repair (if it fails), my initial concern level was somewhere between "highly nervous" and "gut-churning anxiety". Just one of the several panels comprising the unit needed replacing, with that panel having to be de-stitched and removed, and a new one sewed into the overall structure in its place! But I started feeling a sense of relief immediately though, as the guy who would be doing the work began discussing how it would be done... he was covering all the details I was concerned about. To sum up, a couple weeks later when I went in to pick up the headrest, I was floored. The stitch-work matched the original work, the entire covering was fitting as well as the original (possibly a shade better), and everything reassembled slightly neater than was done by the manufacturer! The only difference of note was that the leather used had a slightly coarser grain than the original, but, this is utterly unnoticeable as to be near-invisible, unless you point it out to someone looking at it... and even then some people can't see a difference. The repaired headrest literally looked as good as (or a shade better than) new. This was a clear case of value for money... zero complaints about the service and workmanship, and about a thousand upvotes and accolades on the finished product! Can't recommend them highly enough. Very impressive work!

This is the place to go! Hands down! I had my top done on my Mustang (Sally) a while back. This thing still looks incredible! I have also got my seat material and foam all fixed up. That match was perfect and I don't slide all over the place now. It is much more comfortable. Just like new again! The craftsmanship is impeccable, and the guys are very knowledgeable and friendly. I WILL 110% recommend them to anyone who asks!

Specialized Upholstery replaced the soft top on my 2006 Toyota Solara in late fall of 2021 and did a fabulous job. Through no fault of theirs, the seal on the back window failed, and after a repair didn't take, they immediately ordered me a whole new soft top under warranty and replaced the whole thing. This shop is incredibly professional and does top notch work. I highly recommend them.

Brought my Tacoma to Mike Jr. and the guys at Specialized Upholstery to upgrade my boring stock cloth seats to some custom Katzkins and they killed it. Turnout time was great, picking the designs I wanted was easy, and the install was done perfectly. I highly recommend these guys if you're looking for quality upholstery work.
