Best Hotel in Canada

a	amy cruson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Literally 10 fries. Cold. I get it was busy but didn't even offer to get more or actually get the gravy I ordered with it. Last time I came we got 3x the amount of fries. Second time I've come and food was bad bad. It was almost an hour wait. And yes shared a plate. My friend got almost double. Doesn't excuse the cold and when I said that I reminder her I asked for gravy she didn't say "hey we can fix that" and get some for me, didn't even say sorry- just said well its busy and she walked away. Last time my food was charcoal burned. I understand busy lunch time rushes. But rudeness not so much.

I had just come from a hotel way up in the remote community of pinehouse and would rate that hotel way higher than this one. The bedding, pillows, and towels at the lumsden hotel are all very old and should be replaced. The blankets and sheets are all full of pilling and very uncomfortable, the pillows have all been well used and don’t offer much support so I would recommend bringing your own. The room was also not very clean the carpet was full of lint and other debris didn’t look like it had been vacuumed in a while, and there were food crumbs (chips and a few rogue cheetos) all around the bedside table. Last but not least I had opened the cupboard to find someone’s old bag of chips, half eaten box of crackers, and a big bag of very moldy buns. Looked in the fridge and there was a bunch of leftover food and condiments in there, this was also a complaint from some other people I was with staying in a different room they said there was “something” in their fridge that had clearly been there for a long time. The only reason I’m not giving one star is the service and the food were great. But if you are looking for a hotel I would recommend the extra drive to stay in the north end of Regina.

The waitress was so rude. she cussed at us. we were respectful and tipped VERY well and still she was rude the entire time - all while she was at the bar TAkING SHOTS HERSELF WITH ANOTHER CUSTOMER!! they were unorganized and we paid for way more drinks than were even drank. she was not willing to change bills even though they were wrong and drinks had already been paid for. Their closing time is inconsistent and once we left they locked the doors right after us even though it is winter and extremely cold outside while leaving other customers inside to then drink with- as in the older server was drinking with customers. The reason we were in there "past closing time" was because we were waiting for a safe ride home - which they were very clear they did not care about. Regardless the closing time is so inconsistent we did not even know when it was. (small dark short haired older lady) - awful service
