Nice place, fully equipped with all the necessaries. We spend one night here and enjoyed it very much.

A hidden gem just outside of Barrie. Wonderful B&B style Inn. A perfect place for weddings or other outdoor events.

The place is nice and clean. The host was warm hearted and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

sent an email requesting pricing for my wedding, no response, called a few days later talked to someone and had a baby screaming in my ear. I understand must be a family run business but still. Spoke to her she said she was reading my email and would send me a email right away, few weeks later still nothing called the other day, answers the phone like shes worried about someone’s calling she doesn’t wanna talk to, and tells me she didn’t have her internet net working then so she’ll send me an email back. Couple days later still nothing. If your not interested in business just tell people.

We were there for my friend's engagement party and we Abslutly loved the place. There is a big party tent that you can use it for your outdoor parties in the summer time.

Best place to stay at. Celebrated 2020 New Year. First of all, the price was ridiculously low, I wasn’t expecting anything. However, was surprised by a very clean facility, interesting design of the building, very polite and accommodating staff, access to free wifi, Laptop and projector. Also, there were jacuzzis at each floor. The owner was so polite and friendly he even cleaned everything without saying a word or charging us extra for that while we were sleeping. I went there with many people, we rented out every room except for one, it was an amazing experience. Unfortunately, there was one room that we did not rent so the people in that room complained afterwards for the nose (cmon it’s New Years) therefore, the owner has a negative review on Airbnb which we cannot comment on since we booked this place via another website. Ultimately, the place is definitely worth of getting for any type of gatherings. Especially for its price.

We booked with Castleview in April of 2018 for our Wedding October 5, 2019. Since booking they went through about 6 different event coordinators and were impossible to get a hold of. The property is beautiful but everything else I was not impressed with. They did not stick to their contract with us and did not provide many of the services they stated they would in their contract such as (providing staff for parking, maintaining bathrooms, providing bags for garbage, ordering tables and chairs, putting livestock away, maintaining fire at night, providing breakfast in the morning and the list goes on and on). The owner was no where to be found for most of our wedding unless our outside coordinator went searching for him. The chickens were not put away like I asked and ate part of our cake not to mention kept coming inside the tent while people were eating. To me this is a sanitary issue! The next morning the owner was no where to be found and we were supposed to be provided breakfast. One of the gates was locked but guests that parked over night needed a way out. Since no one was on site they had weave their vehicles all through the property to the gate on the other side of the property so they could leave. Not to mention there were other people not part of the wedding on the property. The owner had guests over that were sitting on the back deck as I was about to walk down the aisle and there were people on different machines cutting grass amongst other things. These things should have been done prior to our wedding not on the day! If we did not have our outside coordinator with us from a different business I do not know what our day would have become. Although the owner is very nice our experience has been nothing but unprofessional and stressful. I want to save future couples that are considering being married there the stress that comes with it.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had planned to have my wedding here in October. As the pandemic started long before my wedding was planned I called and spoke to the owner, Danny, to change the date. In our contract it states we can do so as long as it is six months before the scheduled date. Danny told us we could not reschedule for 2021 because he was selling his farm, later on Facebook we saw a post advertising that people call to schedule for 2021 weddings. Danny told us If COVID prevented us from being allowed to have our wedding he would refund us some of our $4,000 deposit. As we thought, we were unable to have our wedding and Danny refused to pay back any of our deposit. Be very careful if you are planning to have your wedding or hold an event here.
