A	Amanda A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NEEDS SERIOUS RENOVATIONS AT THIS HOTEL Not worth the price very out dated damaged furniture bath tub stained/very small sink only had hot water cold didn’t work and it’s was extremely hot the room was somewhat clean but the chair was so dirty had old food stuck to it cleaning staff loud and slamming doors in the morning the thing that made me not like this place even more is I went to the venting machine to get some bottled water and one of the cleaning staff asked why I’m buying 4 bottles and says next time I can’t do that I didn’t know there was a limited to what you can buy super werid thanks for not minding your own business lady the guest next door were in and out of the room every min I mean they were opening the door like 20 times in 10 mins and the door was obviously broken because it would slam extremely loud other guests were coming out of there rooms and getting mad was not a relaxing experience at all will never return much better hotels in the area this is by far the worst
B	Bob Barrie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit May 11, 2022 for conference / workshop, no overnight stay. Clean, well maintained, professional staff. Former Holiday Inn Hotel, now Allure, with all the same great amenities - pool, work-out room, business centre, conference rooms.

It would make sense to put the teams together instead of randomly throwing a family with small children in the midst of team rooms. Take your team’s money elsewhere as many other hotels are far more accommodating considering the amount of money the teams bring in. Disappointed to say the least.
L	Laura on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This business unfortunately does not treat their housekeeping staff with respect and overworking them so rooms do not get cleaned properly. Cutting corners and not fully cleaning rooms is one way the housekeepers keep up with the limited time they are given to clean. 13 rooms in 8 hours, when some are destroyed and trashed beyond reason, which require more than the limited 30 mins allotted for all 13+ rooms. Quality assurance is extremely sub par. They don't even get breaks. And there's no option for overtime pay. The union does nothing for them either. This is just the tip of the iceberg. I would not recommend seeking employment with this company. Stay away and don't support this business.

We got placed in a hall with hockey families (were have been those families) and the kids ran the halls slamming doors til 2am. Call front desk multiple times and no answer. If you can find another hotel might a good idea.
S	Sukhdev Deroche on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We just got back past weekend. Staff was excellent! We felt the place was grungy. The room needed a complete make over. Hot tub, sauna were not working. Pool was cold. We had booked for 2 days but decided to cancel our last day and just cime home.

My husband decided to take the children into Barrie for a work trip and assumed that it would be a decent trip. Unfortunately a lot fell short. It wasn’t bright or clean looking, the showers and change room by the pool were dirty and the sauna wasn’t working, neither was the hot tub. Concierge didn’t seem helpful. Towels were limited to the room, it felt like a third rate motel rather than what the name made it out to be. I’m glad that management did respond to the review, it shows accountability but hopefully changes can be made to enhance and make it akin to its namesake
A	Adam Millen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We reserved a king sized bed with a balcony. Upon arrival they gave us a queen no balcony. The shower won’t turn off so if your a light sleeper this was annoying. Pool is was great but pool change rooms have no heat and are 16 degrees Celsius. Very friendly staff clean rooms. Don’t think I’ll return as my complaint about not getting what I was paying for was supposed to be resolved with I’m sorry, no room change nothing.
