I'd like to write a review on their service, but unfortunately I can only write a review on their customer service (or lack of it). .... I received a quote from Judi at Best Security for a very small job back in September. I tried to set up an appointment by email to have the work done in early November, but Judi never got back to me. I called the office and was told that she was moving and was probably too busy. I called two other times and left messages both times for either Ken the owner or Michael the manager to call me back, but I've never received a reply from either one of them. Rosemary took the messages and was extremely rude and unfriendly to deal with. She told me "I can only take the message, but if noone calls you back, there's nothing I can do about it!" ....Please don't waste your time with this company!

After numerous attempts to contact the company and two scheduled service calls where the tech did not show up or even call to cancel, moved onto another provider.

Their team is very detail oriented and has been a pleasure to work with over the years. We look forward to working with Best Built-In and their team on future projects for years to come.
p	p s on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a really good company for 20+ years but in the past year it's really changed for the worse. Trying to phone them now is harder than calling Shaw, Telus or Rogers. Best Security only sell one service yet their voice mail has more options than Rogers who sell several.My alarm has been beeping and showing trouble lights for 24 hours. After 7 phone calls to them the problem has not gone away. They can't even tell me how to disconnect the system, or to turn it off. More than half my calls were disconnected and they don't call back, so you need to begin back in their voice mail. A great little company sold to someone who is running it into the ground.

As a matter of fact the same installation technician came to install both times. This technician is skilled with over 30 years experience. Great job.
G	Google User on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a post to replace a previous one that rated the company 1 star. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't trust their salespeople. Ask for references and visit their job sites to ensure you are not being taken advantage of. You certainly don't want inexperienced university students to work on your home. We paid them over $20,000 for central vacuum, audio and alarm systems and we regretted our decision soon after they started working on our new house. Two of the security cameras stopped working not long after installation and the outdoor speaker they mentioned in the contract was never installed (we only found it out a year later when we bothered to check) and the plastic tube leading to the vacuum canister fell apart in the first year. The two young "technicians" who came to install the cameras chose locations on the wall so close to the ground that I had to ask them to move them higher. They chose the lower locations because they could mount them without having to stand on a ladder! The salesman we dealt with was Richard Bry**t who must be retired by now.
A	Amy Lu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called and asked for a certificate for my insurance company and found out the monitoring has stopped working for months while we were testing the system. They argued about it's not their problem and told me that I am the one who is responsible to test it every month, but normal signal was given at my side. They told me they will send someone to check it but waited for two days and no one contacted me. Talked to their customer service and tech departments and they keep passing me to each other for the problem. Very bad communication and customer service. Can not describe my huge frustration after talking to their customer service. I WILL NOT t recommended this company for your home security. Sad to see the company I've been with for more than 10 years do not function probably anymore.
