e	ellie - (e) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've gone to Best Nails for the last year or two. I usually see Michelle (and she is faaaantastic!) who does my nails perfectly every time. Really really good value, they're always respectful and kind. I'm a bit of a hermit, and tend to just watch TV while my nails get done, and the girls are super respectful of that too. It's really sweet, the more experienced nail artists will help teach the newer ones, and every time I go back I love it! 100% recommend. Best to go from Sunnyside station and walk.

Lots of issues with this place.. first, it is not a nice salon at all. It’s dark in there, dated and there is nail filing dust on literally everything. Not clean at all. They also reuse tools and just shove them into a plastic container which is also filled with all sorts of other nail debris. I asked for a very simple French design and the lady clearly did not know how to do it as she was asking her colleague next to her, so I didn’t chance it and just said it’s okay I’ll just do plain, she was happy about that. It seems like there maybe is only one technician here who is skilled in any kind of design. Not sure why she doesn’t train the others if that’s case. No one even asked my name either before we started. She didn’t speak to me once in fact until I paid at the end. The washroom is also not clean either. Very unprofessional behaviour for the service industry which I also work in. My nails are one Color and look fine, however I wouldn’t go back here again. I didn’t get a good vibe immediately when I sat down. It feels like they’ve given up at this place. like another reviewer stated, there may be some reward for reviewers to write a positive review.
S	Stewart Midwinter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a wheelchair user with a spinal cord injury, I'm not able to trim my own fingernails and toenails. This shop does it quickly and is reasonably priced. I rarely have to wait very long. Just note that they are closed on mondays.

I don't get my nails done often but when I do, I always come here. I have nothing but good things to say about this salon & all the staff. Most recently, I got coffin shape red acrylics with the cat eye colour. My tech was so excited to show me how they use a magnet to create the cat eye effect with the special polish since I'd never had it done before. I love how it turned out, it's my most favourite set I've ever had. I am always happy when I leave. It's been a few weeks now since I had my nails done, & they are still in perfect shape. No chips, cracks, or loosening at all. I always recommend this salon to all my friends & family.

I had Michelle do my nails and I am amazed at how well they turned out. This was my first time going to this nail salon and I can guarantee you that I will definitely be coming back. My friend was also pleased with her acrylics. My mom also came in but for a pedi instead and was surprised at how much the women working there pay attention to detail. I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a good nail salon with great quality work and great prices in the Calgary area.

Too many issues to be able to list them all here. I was left in tears afterwards. It’s 6 hours after and my nails are hurting me. I’m getting them redone elsewhere. Will never be back.

I called last min, girls stay late for me. I got my wonderful pedicure done from Yan, seems she doesn’t speaks English, but she gave me really great experience of Pedi, specially reflexology, wow!!! I got my nails done by Michelle, I would say Michelle is best nail tech I’ve ever met, fast , creativity. I love my nails so much. So happy to come to here !

I've been to other nail places and the edges peel or there are bubbles, this one did not. If you go here, request for Michelle, she is the owner and she is the most experienced.
