★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reviewed as of Dec 13th, 2021 - it has been a while that they upgraded the look which looks awesome and very current. The sales reps actually became very active and professional, even the customer service department people work hard and nice. Shopping at this Best Buy location is now pleasant. 5 stars! Keep it up Best Buy Richmond!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Larry was amazing! I needed a new laptop, he was very candid, patient and knowledgeable; answered all my questions and concerns. Great upsale skills too; although he is still in training, but i have no doubt Larry will be a top sales associate in no time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s amazing this company still exists. They ran an online promotion on FB, and it was also on Red Flag Deals. They won’t honor it for me, but a friend was able to get it. Chatted with two support folks - 1 call and 1 chat - stated they don’t advertise on FB (see screenshot 1). And in-store, the manager said online is separate from the store and the ads are likely fake (see screenshot 2). Holy crackers, these folks are a mess and I should’ve clued in after seeing the CBC Marketplace special on them. I’m ashamed I ever worked for this company and, regardless of any deal, I’ll never buy from Best Buy again. Costco and Canada Computers from now on!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They were ok with helping me order an ac but delivery of it is a different story. Puralotor is the worst company imaginable to deal with. They give the worst information and support isnt helpful at all. Tracking app is pretty useless not happy at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's been a while since I've set foot in this bestbuy but it has certainly a different look. There's a larger focus on the home utilities and appliance sections.
Lots of nice displays. Computers and games and tvs sections are easy to find so did not spend a lot of time finding what I need.
It's not the busiest of bestbuys due to landsdowne mall being so spread out. Even on boxing day or blackfriday it is probably one of the better placed to wait and lineup

Best Buy has taken precautions to ensure a COVID safe environment.
When we arrived the store was at capacity so we had to wait outside, we were in within 5 minutes.
At the door we were asked by the greeter what we were coming for and directed where to go, I had preplanned and did a online instore pickup.
We went to instore pickup at the back left, gave our email with pickup confirmation and two pieces of ID.
We were in and out within minutes, smooth and easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In store they are great but I am giving only one star for the absolutely abysmal phone support. Everything has to now go through their call centre instead of being able to speak to the store directly. All I wanted to know, before a long drive to the store, was if they have 3 sets of a specific cell phone in stock. All the rep would tell me was that the model showed in stock but not how many and would not put me through directly in contact with the store. This was beyond frustrating and extremely poor customer service. I'm not blaming the CSR here but Best Buy's centralizing their phone lines. There should always be an option to contact the store directly. What a joke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Max the LG specialist was the most helpful and wonderful person! Went into the store because our tv legs were missing some bolts and Max took time from his day to help us find the right bolts which saved our lives because we literally went to 4 different stores for the bolts. Definitely recommend this store and especially Max to everyone who wishes to shop great quality products and receive great customer service!
