I had the worst experience signing up for a phone plan today at Cambie Street. After 2.5hrs I still do not have a fully functioning new phone. I assume the person I was dealing with was training, but his lack of knowledge and service was extremely frustrating. I've had good experiences with Best Buy before and am a geek squad member, but I'm not sure I will ever shop there again.

Rating refers to an experience I had at this location when asking how I could set up a shared folder/network system at home. I wanted a system where all family members could access photos and files (e.g., manage records for home-based business, etc.), but have protection from being accessed through the internet by hackers. 20-something guy there said there was no way to do that unless I had advanced knowledge of linear algebra. Did my own research online and found out all I needed was to set up a NAS (bought a Synology model off of Newegg). I feel like any first year computer science student would have known this. We've been back a few times since and repeatedly did not get useful information from staff in the computer section.

The more I look at the way Major Companies do Business like Best Buy The more I wish they would go out of Business For example you order and pay for an item on line go into the store to pick it up And they have no record of it NOTHING It was a glitch in the system They say You make the trip there and then they tell you to come back again I have all the correspondence backed up on my IPad for the online order The Manager Alexander better find another JOB He stood there smiling at my PROBLEM And called it customer service I walked up to London Drugs Spent over 350 dollars there and ERIC took the time to Put my Device together no charge it took Him 5 minutes Best Buy wanted to charge me 50 dollar’s Maybe Best Buy doesn’t care about Customer Service anymore Or never did whatever I took Myself and my Money to where I’m Appreciated why do We have to give any Stars? Really Sad ? Andy P/S went to London Drugs and spent 300 dollars the next day on another device 650 dollars London Drugs, Best Buy 0 dollars ??

"You get what you pay for". While very true, this branch failed to satisfy that service. I was purchasing a screen protector for my iPHONE 12 PRO MAX, where I was helped by a representative and gave me a screen protector to purchase and install. I usually install my screen protector through the geek squad because I had good experiences in the past. However, I received my phone after installation the design of the screen protector was not compatible with my phone. It was meant for the IPHONE 13 PRO MAX. The slight difference at the top of the phone was displeasing aesthetically, and this was not what I paid for, while making me question the knowledge of the people who worked there (representative) and the electronic experts (geek squad) who installed my phone screen protector. I asked if they could find a compatible phone screen protector, with the same brand and quality. This took 10 minutes. At this point they offered to refund me, to which I accepted. Thinking this was the end of the whole situation, the manager who helped me get the refund, took me on a crash course of trying to find me another case and trying to convince me that this iPhone case will protect my phone otherwise. However IT IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR or WANTED. Trying to argue with my point, he made the situation worse. No apology and no refund on the service installation of my phone, after they wasted 30 minutes of my time, to which I needed to make calls to clients and had other scheduled meetings. Retrain and revaluate representatives to have expert knowledge on their departments to avoid time consuming mistakes. Managers should not be arguing with customers to get their point across, when it was a complete mistake on their end. Poor quality of service and disappointing mistakes.

I have been waiting for six days to get my problem resolved at Cambie Store. It is impossible to call the store direct. Customer service does not get back quickly. Store Manager was supposed to call last night or today -- nothing yet. I cannot phone the store directly. We had a horrible experiencing changing to Koodo and getting new phones. Feel we were taken advantage of because we are seniors. Salesman talking to his staff in another language while making us wait for service. We were in store for over 3 hours and had to keep going down and repaying for parking. Also feel we overpaid for services when hearing from others. I ended up transferring my data myself. Customer Service at Best Buy is very unreliable and if I hear "have a nice day" again I might explode.

I bought my very first television at this location and had a wonderful experience. Ryan was my sale representative and made my purchase seamless. He was very easy to talk to and although I felt slightly intimidated having to buy a product I knew nothing about, he helped answer all of my questions. I then had Daniel assist me to my car and he was so incredibly kind! I don’t typically leave reviews, but felt compelled to write something because he really made my day and I want everyone to know how wonderful he was. My small commuter car did not leave him a lot of room to fit the tv box, but he worked his magic and somehow got it in while taking my driving safety into full consideration. Thank you to both gentlemen who helped me that day. I highly enjoyed my experience and love my new TV.

Definitely a flagship store as they have the most store variety and quantity. They even are starting to use robots to market their products.
