If the way they manage Portfolio apartments is any indication, they're a terrible property management company.

Northhill Mall....wish I could give zero stars....this mall has gone from bad to worse over the last 30 years....highlighted a safety issue by the Real Estate Agency parking lot and basically they said "sue us" after wasting a lot of my time......beware of this mall!!!

I wish I could give them no star. Warning to everyone: don’t come to there buildings! They throw apartment to you and when you move in, you’ll figure out how much they lied to you!

Excellent Customer service from especially Charlenne Sobremonte ! This is our first year in the books with Bentall Kennedy and have to give them the highest recommendation. From the office staff to the grounds keeping everything has been top notch ! Great work everyone. James Strilcic JPS Furnace

Heating system of our suite is turned off by some one from Bentall Kennedy. The staff and customers are forced to operate in chilling cold. The business is suffering miserably due to extreme cold inside the suite. The maintenance service of Bentall Kennedy has been called in emergency multiple times since morning. Currently it is 2.45 PM and no one has showed up till now. I wish there was a minus star also.

Terrible management and dishonest business - We moved into "Hull Estates" (a building managed by Bentall Kennedy) in January because we were sold on extensive and awesome amenities such as an outdoor pool open during the summer, an entertainment room to use for parties, a squash court, a gym, etc. They emphasized the amenities strongly, yet failed to mention that they had extensive renovations planned and so NONE of these amenities would be available for the majority of the lease. And renovations like these are NOT planned last minute - meaning they knew about it and never told any of the (MANY) people they moved in in the beginning of the year. If we had known about these, we would've definitely reconsidered moving in here. They started doing heavy construction right out front that is extremely loud without telling or warning the residents properly, blocked off one of the entrance ways, told us (after everyone complained, I presume) that there will be no pool open this season and basically none of the amenities will be available for an unknown period of time. Oh and laundry room and other parts of the building are closed regularly and now we have to go pick up our mail from the post office only once a week, cause apparently our mail can't get delivered here for some strange reason? When we spoke to whoever we were supposed to speak to, we were barely given any sort of apology/explanation or proper communication as to why we were sold on all of these extras when we weren't going to get access to any during the majority of our lease. NOT happy about the way they are treating the residents in this building and I can tell you that many of the residents are very unhappy. I recommend looking at a company that is honest about their plans and don't treat their residents like they are dumb.

Love living here.......it's 2nd time around for Rawland and i....Sinead is a pleasure to deal with.....so understanding and really caring.......this is a big building and dealing with so many people........it take a special person to manage it all and she does it ....it just feels like I'm home .......thank you so much for everything you do.....the giesbrecht s

Misleading management and terrible communication. We moved in 4 months ago to Hull Estates (managed by Bentall Kennedy). We were sold on renting based on the amenities. We were not told in advance that there would be extensive renovations taking place during the majority of our lease. They started construction without notice and when tenants began to complain, they wrote an unprofessional letter telling the tenants that we would not have access to the gym, pool, tennis courts, etc. for the summer season. There are constantly water outages, no access to certain floors and laundry facilities, as well as the parkade is super inconvenient to access. They are now re-directing our mail (without notice) elsewhere to be picked up only on Friday's. I have now been told that our water is not running as I write this - and there was NO WARNING, again. I will be avoiding Bentall Kennedy properties going forward.
