The best doctor I’ve ever had or ever even met (I’ve been an RN for eleven years).

Awful service. Waited two months to get in only to be cancelled on the morning of. When I asked for the same apointment next week there was a mistake with the time and I was told today while getting ready to leave for my appointment that I had missed it. The woman on the phone was rude and defensive towards me and told me I owe a 50 dollar fee for missing my appointment, even though the time was wrong. I'm so sad and disappointed at how this place has treated me and how this person handled the situation , I would be stupid to go back here for my medical needs. I will never try to come here again.

Dr. Roberta Pauls is great! Well they all are but she is my doctor and I am so sad she is retiring. The reception desk runs hot and cold though.

I have been going to Dr. Kirkham for 25 years plus. She is absolutely and positively the gold star of doctors. Intelligent, caring, patient, and thorough. Everything you would ever need in a physician. Dr. Kirkham, thank you so very much for taking care of my family and myself for all these many years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kurdyak's since he opened his practice many years ago. Since than all the members of my family in Vancouver have become his patients as well. We are all happy with him and have never considered looking for anyone else. He has always been available and helpful. His competence is unquestionable and he remains current medically in my opinion.

After being a patient here for 10 years no one reached out to me to let me know my dr is retiring. I called to make an appointment as usual. That was when I was told my dr is retiring in a week and she was too busy. I asked to see any dr just to refill my prescriptions. I got an appointment with dr LAURA HARPER. I told her what I needed refilled and she said okay no problem let me just call you back in a few days BUT she lied. A few weeks later I called and the receptionist told me dr LAURA HARPER said she won't do it because i'm not a patient anymore. I was still a patient their at the time of my appointment but she purposely waited until I wasn't. All I needed was my prescription medication that i've gotten manys times refilled. Now I no longer have a dr and am left without my meds.

My GP is rarely in and I usually see a locum (they tend to be pretty good). There is chronic turnover in the front end staff and the most recent MOAs are cold, lack common sense, and manners. Chronic turnover is a sign of entropy in any organization. Developing and maintaining trust through empathy and competent service, while nurturing long-term relationships would go a long way to boosting outcomes and confidence in this physician group. When people feel heard they in turn listen and are more likely to be compliant. While I sympathize with the physician's plight (it's not easy to be a physician in this socio-political-economic system) think of what it's like being someone in pain, worried, and at the mercy of it. Have a heart, be kind, be polite, do good work, care a little.
