It makes for a nice clean renovation of your tub and shower, and after a quick visit from one of their staff, dealing with the installation, they explained the situation and to appease any misunderstanding that I had, they remedied my situation quickly and without complaint. They are very much a 5 star business. Thank you Bath Fitter. I would like to add that both installers who came to my house treated my home as if it were the Taj Mahall; removing boots even though they were told it was unnecessary, and laying out the tarps and cleaning up after themselves to the best possible degree. Their workers were the absolute best.

In May, a complete bathtub liner, tub surround and fixtures was installed by Bath Fitters. Beautiful installation, transforms the bathroom.....we love it. We were very impressed with customer service provided by Phil Duford, General Manager. He came very quickly after installation and resolved some issues to our complete satisfaction.

I previously engaged Bath Fitter to install a fitting for tub and shower which they did. Yes, it was satisfactory but the information provided before the arrival of the service guy was inadequate: the agent didn't tell me that his worker would be spewing plastic beads all over the bedroom where he was cutting the materials, even though a perfunctory attempt at covering the furniture and rug was made. When I made out the check the worker put on his winter boots and trekked over the carpet and kitchen floor leaving salt, dirt and water marks in his wake. After considerable use the faucet handle came off whereupon I tried to find a replacement from various outlets and was informed (by Rona) that they couldn't stock them as Bath Fitter was supplied exclusively by a manufacturer in China. I left a voice mail with Bath Fitter requesting the new part/installation and they simply didn't reply--this in view of their original promise that they would supply parts and service for future breakage, etc. I'm waiting to receive a positive response. Beware. The company is all too eager in its advertising and promises but indifferent on its follow-up.

Very professional company. Shower install for my elderly mother. Work was completed in 2 days and the area was left very clean and tidy. She is very happy with the end product. Thank you for the great service.

We love the transformation from a 50 year old bathtub/shower to a very modern look. Very professional from the start to the end. We had a slight problem with the shower activator on the spout, through no fault of Bathfitters, (it was a manufacturer's defect). After my call to Phil , we had a new spout installed right away. I asked how much for the upgraded spout. No charge. Highly recommend Bathfitters if you are looking to change, your tired, old, tub/shower.

I wanted to share my recent, disappointing experience with any future potential Bathfitters customers: The rating of this review is based on the level of service I received. So far, the product is fine. Turns out, I got what I paid for, just not what I ordered. The reviews on the Bathfitters website were mostly favorable, so decided to check out their products During my visit to the Swansea Crescent showroom, I chose the shower/tub liner, fixtures, and accessories that I wanted to purchase. So when I was provided with a quote, I believed that it was based on what I chose, and the measurements he had just taken. This was not the case. Installation day was a nightmare. They sent chrome fixtures, instead of the brushed nickel I had specifically chosen. In addition, the tub liner was too small, so did not get installed until 5 days later (for which they ended up giving me a token discount) Their errors could have been resolved quickly, and to their customer’s satisfaction. Instead, I was met with indifference by each rep from their company (salesman, manager, and owner). I was told that I had been quoted for chrome, and that was what they had installed, and that it had been my responsibility to ensure I was quoted correctly. Just to be clear, the quote did not specify the fixture type, which is why I assumed that he quoted the brush nickel that I requested. There was much confusion over how much to charge to rectify their error. I received 3 different quotes on how much additional cost it would be - to me - to exchange the fixtures. The initial one was $1500. A couple of days later, it was $1200. When I finally received the written quote, it turned out to be $2250 (over and above what I had already paid for the chrome fixtures). At no point during any of the conversations with any rep of this company was there mention of any kind of compensation, nor accountability, for this error. Because the additional cost was so substantial, I reluctantly decided to keep the chrome fixtures. If the correct quote had been given to me at time of ordering, I would have had the choice to obtain estimates from other establishments. I want to pass on to future customers what learned from my experience with Bathfitters, which is, there is no “cost of doing business”, nor is “the customer always right”. In short, Buyer Be Aware

So fabulous! My husband and I were tired of cleaning our grouted bathtub/shower tiles but feared a vinyl install would look cheap. Wow, we were wrong! We got the marbled grey insert, and it looks gorgeous. I love the sturdy grab bars we got, and the side shelves are so much nicer and practical than the temporary shelves we had in there before. I want to give a shout out to the Ottawa Bathfitter team for their fantastic customer service. Everyone seemed to be going the extra mile to ensure we understood our options, that we felt in charge, and that we were happy with the end result. They gave great recommendations on products and positioning, but I never felt pressured. I got just what I wanted. There was an issue with the initial install, but the Bathfitter team addressed it very quickly and provided us with a fair compensation for the inconvenience. Very professional. We’re already thinking of doing Bathfitter in our other bathroom!

Fourteen years ago Ottawa Bath Fitter remodelled our bath room. We have been very happy. Then at 10:30 pm on Monday night the shower would not shut off. I phoned them at 7 am Tuesday morning. A Bath Fitter person arrived at our house in two hours. Very quickly the problem was resolved. The service person was incredibly knowledgeable. The service was amazing. My anxieties disappeared. It would be wonderful if other organizations were half as good.
