★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We drove from Surrey to Port Alberni for the day to have lunch, as we'd heard that the fish and chips were amazing. Our experience did not disappoint, we enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly! We will be going back for another adventure day lunch soon. Thank you to the staff and awesome chef!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just happened to stop by this little gem in port albernie and have to say, was not expecting such a good experience. Food was 10/10 delicious and super reasonably priced, especially considering the portions. My husband got the 1 cod & chips and we were very pleased how much fish came with the meal. Super fast and friendly service also. Will definitely be back soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are are Vancouver Island for a week working and wanted to try some local places and food. Both my husband and I ordered the fish and chips to go. I had the halibut and he ordered the ling cod. Both were very good but the halibut was our favourite. I am not usually a fan of fish but I will definitely be ordering the halibut again! Fries and coleslaw were also good. I highly suggest the halibut next time you are looking for a good fish and chips meal. The meal came with homemade tortilla chips which were also great. They didn't include cutlery or napkins, which we didn't ask for either, but we keep some in the vehicle, so if that is an issue for you, be sure to ask for cutlery and napkins.

Staff were friendly.
Not very busy in 5pm. I saw people come more for to go.
They offer an option to split to two for an extra $1.50.
Plates come with fries and salad
(Someone mentioned tortilla comes also but it was not the case)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was really good. One of the better fish and chips I’ve had in a long long time. Batter had a nice flavor and the portion was huge. They ended up splitting our meal into two as requested and it was nicely done as they portioned it in the back and brought out two plates. I got a mojito and it was on point. Must try the shrimp scampi!!!! It was so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. And the best part was this entire restaurant is gluten free, which was perfect for one of my friends. Chowder was to die for. So creamy and so good! The service was also amazing! This place was so good we went twice! Will always go whenever I’m on the island. Highly highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unique dining establishment with a very good twist on seafood. Though their fish and chips is excellent, do not pass up on the many other items.
Prices are reasonable and service excellent. The owner often strolls out to keep an eye on things. He is proud of his restaurant and so he should be.
