I have tried many studios and this is the only studio where I have been able to learn the ballet technique properly and improve. Donna is an amazing teacher who gives her full attention to each of her students and who takes the time to explain the moves.I highly recommend for anyone looking to learn ballet with no previous experience or anyone wanting to perfect their technique.

I felt like I was just trying to imitate others’ movements but not really learning anything. Luckily I found Donna’s ballet school over a year ago and have been studying with her since. She pays attention to each and every student and gives constructive feedback on our techniques. Studying with her has really helped me build on the foundational techniques and finding connection in my expression. It’s also helped me connecting more to the music that I play on the piano and appreciate the rare opportunities that I get to fully immerse myself in doing something so graceful. If you are serious about studying ballet well at any level I would highly recommend taking classes with Donna.

Donna is also incredibly thoughtful and flexible when it comes to accommodating shifting schedules and requests for make-up classes. She’s committed to ensuring her students get the most out of her classes, regardless of level. I will be a student of ballet as long as she is a teacher. Its not like any other dance school. Donna cares about every single studeny and the classes really focus on building a solid foundation and doing things right instead of doing things fast, which really really helps in a long term. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

I have been coming here for a year now and I leave every class learning valuable things about ballet and my body. My posture has improve tremendously. This is not a fitness class although you will be training, it is learning the art of ballet that will strength your body and brain.

Ballet is such a beautiful art form, it makes you feel so elegant and strong. Donna offers classes at many different times throughout the week to accommodate any schedule. She also offers modern dance classes which help students understand spatial relationships in dance. Her floor barre class is challenging but so rewarding and strengthening. Ballet has become such an important aspect of my health and I consider it a necessity. I wouldn't dance with any other studio than Ballet Espressivo. No other teacher is as dedicated to safety and integrity towards her students.
