β β β β β The Meat Department has the absolute best bone broth for such a great price of $9. I have tried many places and they all fall short when comparing to their Heart Broth which is a mix of chicken and beef bones. It is super rich, and definitely not watered down making it a delight to drink and makes me feel great!
Their roast beef sandwich is also so delicious - stacked full of meat, mixed greens and a house spread on brioche bun.
Would definitely recommend this place for some high quality cuts of meat, spreads, broth and fresh sandwiches!

β β β β β Micky was great. Helpful choosing what I needed for my steak tartare and ever so kind to help me chop it as well because of my carpal tunnel lol. Also picked up the reaper hot sauce they stocked and it was a flavourful fiery in mi mouth. Nice shop and would stop by again for special butcher needs!

Avoid vaccum sealed products as they cannot be checked for quality until its too late. I purchased vac sealed English cut short ribs for $17/lbs that were quite below expectations. Very little meat on what usable pieces there were. Including a full bone with zero meat.
Website said $11/lbs only to find out instore was $17 which is not a big deal by itself, but after a couple negative experiences I will not be returning.

β β β β β While this maybe a bit on the pricey side their meats are tasty. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. They also offer up weekday sandwiches for lunch. Definitely a go to place for the almighty BBQ!

β β β β β I love this truly authentic butcher shop. Their homemade sausages are amazing. Especially the Merguez sausage that has a truly authentic Flavour They also stock Hudson Valley duck breasts that put Brome Lake and King Cole
to shame. A bit pricier but also a bit bigger and with such delicious fat and tender flesh. To die for!

β β β β β best marinated pork tenderloin in the city! My kids ask for it almost weekly! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, as well as keeping safe during the pandemic. Nothing like the abusive nature of Leslieville Meat Market

β β β β β Got the fried chicken sandwich. It was incredible. Very good price as well. 10 dollars and the sandwich was massive. They have amazing cheese samples. The owner gave me two complimentary sausages as well. 10/10 taste and 10/10 service. Highly recommend.
