β β β β β This was my third visit to BN but my first eye exam there. The optometrist was so lovely and knowledgeable - she listened to me and found exactly what was causing my issue. Alyssa was my optician and she helped me out so much & explained more about my lenses. 11/10 recommend!

β β β β β Incredible customer service. I came in today to get the arms of my glasses tightened and adjusted and the team working there were so sweet - and went above and beyond! They changed my nose pads for me, adjusted my glasses, gave me a new lens cloth for free and were so pleasant to be around. Every Bailey Nelson I go to has the most incredible customer service! I can't imagine purchasing glasses from anywhere else.

β β β β β Wow! Where to even begin!! As soon as we entered we were greeted with a warm welcome. We just went to browse glasses, ended up getting a few pairs! The staff are extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure any and all of our needs were met. Who knew shopping for glasses would be so fun! I truly want to thank you all for making our experience one to remember!

β β β β β We had such a great experience! Alisha was amazing. We were there for quite a while because we all had eye appointments and she was exceptional. Both the ladies working there were. The optometrist was also very friendly. We enjoyed our experience. We will be shopping for glasses there again β€οΈ

β β β β β The team at here is AMAZING! I had my eye exam and then brought my brother in the same day to help me choose a pair for myself. Before I went to pick him up the ladies had me try on a similar frame to what I have and it was beautiful. Came back and tried on probably like 10 more but went back to the first one they had me try on. They know their stuff and are super helpful and friendly. Let me take my time to figure out what I wanted. Gave awesome suggestions. Super caring and patient. Hands down the best experience I've had at any clinic and will be back for any future exams and specs. ?

β β β β β This is was my first time buying glasses in Canada, and Bailey Nelsonβs staff made it so easy for me. I did try nearly every pair in the store, I appreciate their patience with me. I love the fact they are involved in every step and they are so kind! The staff they didnβt miss a single detail and helped me book an eye exam as well.
The eye doctor was fantastic, he also knew about my eye condition and explained to me the why and howβs. He was very nurturing and well spoken.
Thank you again for the wonderful service!

β β β β β My experience here was really good. The strong points were the welcoming, kind and helpful staff, the way the optometrist (Dr. Tariq) explained everything and made sure her patient understands how their exam works and what each test is for. The strong point for me, a person on a low income budget, was how affordable the eye exam was. The only thing stopping me from giving a 5 star review was that when I shared that I was low income and expressed that I would be purchasing frames elsewhere, I was not allowed to be measured for a PD (which if I recall correctly, is part of one's prescription anyway). I was not offered an explanation besides the staff were not allowed to give me access to that information unless I purchased frames in store. I understand this is a business, of course, but being cognizant of the fact that some folks are on the poverty line and do not have access to health insurance can go a long way, especially in this region of the city and the current pandemic situation.

β β β β β This is not a review comparing products or prices to other eyeglass retailers. A cursory check on google told me prices would be fair and product would be decent. Both are true. Good glasses, good value. This is more a review of their marketing strategy, I think they are missing the boat. From the second I walked into the store and was warmly greeted to picking out frames, coatings etc to picking up my glasses this was not an average experience. The staff here are exceptional in every way, in fact when I had an issue with glare and was pretty much resigned to just putting the glasses in a drawer and forgetting about them. I figured I would drop by and see if something was wrong with them. They tweaked, adjusted and did a few things to them that pretty much totally solved the problem. The best thing about it was I did not feel I was bothering or putting them out. They genuinely wanted to help and took whatever time they needed to make sure I was happy. I think their website and marketing should focus more on their staff, they make purchasing glasses far from ordinary and the experience from beginning to end almost borders on being bespoke. If your thinking of purchasing glasses from a discount on line retailer, do yourself a favor, stopβ¦go visit the staff at Bailey Nelson in Kingsway Mall and find out what exceptional customer service really means. You wonβt regret it.
