I went to snowcat with my girlfriend for two days - the experience was memorable - the terrain is able to serve expert and intermediate and the guides will go out of their way to ensure that everyone skied terrain adapted to their needs - the food was amazing (home cooked meal like your mom wishes she was able to make) - the lodge is clean and comfortable - plus the approach on sled is a just a bonus to the experience - strongly recommended - felt safe at all time and truly enjoyed these magical moments - the highlight of my season every guide and employees are walking the extra mile to ensure that your stay is comfortable and a success locally owned and managed try it!

It was my first time snowcat skiing and it was amazing. The best powder days I have ever had. The crew at Backcountry snowcats are all superb people. I will do this again!

Fantastic weekend Cat skiing and boarding! My husband, myself and our teenage son just spent 2 great days with SnowCats. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious and abundant with snacks and meals just when we needed them most. The guides were great balancing the need for safety with everyone's desire to have the most fun possible. We were not sure the conditions would be good but they were great. Their tenure is large enough that if conditions are not ideal in one area, they just move the Cat to a better spot. We had amazing snow all weekend and would defiinitely come back again. Dress warm for the snowmobile ride in and out. Brrrr!!!!

Gave up after trying to book several times, over a two month period, but emails were unanswered. Got through once on the phone, but no followup. Now the phone number is out of service?

I've been twice, both times in mid March and have been blown away by how great the snow is even at this time of year. You are basically riding untouched powder every single run. And this is much nicer snow than you find in Whistler. The guides are fantastic. The older guide, Steve, has been guiding for over 30 years and I completely trust his knowledge of the terrain and snowpack. He's great at assessing everyone's ability level and getting you into the best possible lines. This year we were able to get into two bowls that no one else had skied all season. Every run was incredible, and the bushwacking out of Tarn was pretty damn fun too. At one point I was standing above a bowl, and I thought how great it felt to just be able to take your time and enjoy the landscape and choose your line, whereas in Whistler on a powder day it is just a mad dash to get to the bottom and back into the forty minute lift line so you can try to get a second run in before the entire mountain is tracked out. After having lived in Whistler for seven seasons, I can honestly say that the four days I've spent at Snowcats are by far the best four days of riding I've ever had. The lodge is comfortable and the food is great. Everyone is super casual, friendly, and accommodating. The 35km ride to get there on a snowmobile feels much more fun on the way in than on the way out! But it's all part of a great adventure. Worth every penny.

Amazing terrain, crew and accomodations. Couldn't ask for much more if you're looking for a machine based backcountry adventure. Reg and the entire staff were absolutely fantastic. We had some cold temperatures (down to -30) and they ensured we had warm food for us after each day of skiing deep fluffy powder. 10/10

Very Disappointing. I recently booked a trip for 9 with Hurley Mountain Lodge/Backcountry Snowcats for February 2021. Despite booking 5+ months in advance, our trip was cancelled by the company just 3 days prior to our arrival. No explanation or apology was given for the cancellation other than "we are double-booked". I still do not know what happened or why the trip was cancelled. This unexpected cancellation left our group disappointed, and out of pocket as we had already made travel & hotel arrangements. Do not work with these cowboys! There are many other reputable operations in the region!
