★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to get some wiper blade for my car. Immediately the person checked for me the wipers I would need and recommended the right kind. But knowing how useless I am at doing any kind of handy work ,I could not put them on.So I just went in and asked the gentleman to please help me install the wipers and he very gladly did it.All fixed and happy. Did not have to bother with Canadian Tire where I do not like to shop at.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the phone, the staff are very patient in assisting callers with their inquiries. They’re never in a hurry to finish the call and are professional.
At the store, one can get even more insight in choosing the right vehicle parts. One of the staff (manager?) has probably been there since they were located in Silver Springs and has always imparted great information and shared experiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My car got an engine light on and so I went to Auto Value to get it scanned. They let you borrow their scanner for free so that’s good. NAPA wanted $40 for that alone so I won’t be going there anymore.
Once I scanned the car, I took a picture of my code and Darren was nice enough to look it up for me. Turns out my purge valve might be starting to go. It could also just be my gas cap. We cleared my code and I’ll trouble shoot it for now.
I’m very impressed with auto value for their customer service. If it turns out that I would need a purge valve, I’ll definitely grab it from auto value.
On an unrelated note, we also bought my girlfriends battery from auto value and it’s been going strong over these past few years as well.
