★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love the fries because they crispy! But when u order the chicken! Don’t order the spicy unless you like to dip ur chicken in hot sauce instead of being seasoned spicy! Plus the gravy is really minimal for flavour! Everything blends together in flavour! They need to learn how to season their chicken if they are gonna cost sooooooooo much for a family. A 18 piece is like $75 at the end of it for chicken fries and a salad -_- I rather eat KFC then their chicken now sadly. I’ll forever miss johns chicken. Y’all better learn how to season ur chicken and have more flavour in ur gravy for ur gonna loss a lot of business costing so much for no real flavour. Very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ladies behind the counter were pretty nice and friendly. The fries are really good. Better than the chicken unfortunately. I got a spicy chicken meal but it wasn't spicy at all. The chicken wasn't that crispy either. Kind of doughy almost. I am disappointed because it's the only friend chicken place around that's not KFC.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought a family meal with 6 pieces of cod and we were left disappointed. Not only did that cost us around 50 dollars plus coleslaw and tartar sauce, but fish itself had more dough than fish. We expected more from such high price.
The tartar sauce had way too much mayo and was barely edible. Wouldn't recommend to anyone until the prices drop.

Chicken was alright, and the fish was okay, albeit fairly heavily breaded.
Fries and sides were where the train came off the rails.
Would I go back. Probably not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time trying Austin Fish and Chicken. Ordered 2 - 2 piece halibut and chips, medium coleslaw, and medium tartar. Everything was freshly prepared and still hot when we got home. Great experience. Will be back.
