Beautiful room. Well decorated in an old comfortable style. Thoroughly enjoyable and 180° from a Hilton. No elevator or bellhop so be prepared for several flights of stairs. Not for a quick one night stay.

The room was very clean and quaint and the owner was there to greet us when we arrived and was very nice. The room was spacious but we were in a room with an open concept bathroom, which was a little odd but we made do. The location is fantastic. We were so close to so many great restaurants and shops. The feel is very Old Montreal and felt more like an Air BnB than a hotel. I think the most challenging part was getting up the stairs numerous times (there is no elevator). My mother is low vision and it was quite hard for her. Also, the internet was very patchy and did not work at all most of the time so I used up a lot of my data. As well, the tv was very tiny and as people who love to just unwind after a day of walking and exploring it was not ideal.

I stayed in the king suite. It's a very cozy and spacious room with wooden finishings. It has several chairs and a couch, and it's equiped with a kettle, toaster, fridge, and other useful things. The view of the waterfront isn't that great. The restroom doesn't have a door, but its entrance is covered by a wall. The heating worked well. The self-service check-in experience was convenient, which is important given that the front desk closes at 5pm. A few downsides: the Google description made us think that there were breakfast options, but there aren't; it'd be great to have more local information in the room, especially about breakfast, because the area is expensive and options aren't that good; there was a late night party in the club next door, and I had to sleep with earplugs.

Nice rooms with nice atmosphere. May take some adjustment if you expect the typical chain hotel experience. Lobby is only staffed from 9 to 5 so self check in, check out. No restaurant but there is a mini bar and basic cold breakfast in the room. Laundry service available but call the office to ensure it gets picked up.

Nice hotel. No elevator but the rooms are rather large if that's important to you. Our bed was extremely creaky on the third floor which was a bit annoying if you or your partner needs to get up in the middle of the night. Everything was clean and the check-in process is different but efficient. Perfect location.

Cute and quaint, with huge, beautifully decorated rooms, right on the river. The staff were very friendly and welcoming; the hotel had a wonderful family feel to it. We will definitely be back. Be aware though that there is no lift, so be ready to climb the stairs.

Great place in an excellent location! Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The only things folks may want to be aware of is there are lots of stairs (we stayed on the top floor) and there can be some noise from the neighborhood at night. But for the price point it is an exceptional value!
