This medical office prioritizes quantity of patients they can take in and make money off of rather than quality of life and care for their patients. Made an appointment to get forms filled out. Gave them to the receptionist as they have signs indicating you must present the form to the receptionist. She had no idea why I was giving her the form even though the sign sat right in front of her face on her desk. Another receptionist (European, brown short hair with blonde highlights) grabbed the forms looked at it, didn’t say a single thing to me just continued to speak to the other receptionist basically ignoring me, then she callously hands me back the paper and says, β€œGive it to the doctor.” As I was taken aback at how rude she seemed I said, β€œSorry?” She repeated with the same unreal rude tone, β€œGive. It. To. The. Doctor.” It’s one thing overbooking your patients where when I come for my appointment time and STILL have to wait TWO HOURS PLUS to see the doctor. But to add on the rude and snotty attitude of the desk staff. WOW. I encourage all and any doctors who are thinking of opening up an office to open up near here. Just show your patients the tiniest modicum of respect and consideration I guarantee you the patients at this clinic will jump ship. Most times when I see a review say, β€œIf I can give this place 0 stars, I would,” I think they’re exaggerating. But not for this place, not only would I give this place 0 stars I’d report it if I could.

Multiple times I've tried to reach reception. Theyll put you on hold till close EVEN AFTER CLOSE and theyll leave you on hold for 30 minutes. This is not the first, second or third time this has happened. I will be contacting the owner to let them know that even though they have more then 4 receptionists none of them can do there job which is answering calls for appointments etc. I'm waiting for ultrasound results on my cyst that HAS POSSIBLY RUPTURED. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE BEFORE YOUR IN MY SHOES. HAS BEEN HAPPENING OVER 6 MONTHS if the owner can contact me tonight great. If not I will be there at 9am tomorrow

I visited the Atlantic Medical Centre with a family member from Ontario was staying with me for a couple of weeks and she needed to use the walk-in clinic to address respiratory issues. The medical facility was clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. My family member first met with Dr. Wisdom Uwabor and it was a really positive experience. About five days later we needed to visit again, and my family member met with a different male doctor (someone other than Dr. Uwabor) on a Friday who provided prescription medications and a requisition for a chest x-ray which we completed the same day. The physician said he would call back either way after the weekend (i.e., on the Monday). He did not. My family member called and requested the results of the chest x-ray on Monday/Tuesday. No response. She tried again later that week. No response. My family member then requested that the x-ray results be sent to her family physician in Ontario. No response. It has been about a week and a half without a response. So, overall, the initial care was quite good, but the follow-up and responsibility/follow-through have been really poor. Quite a mixed experience. Update (early to mid-November 2018): my family member continued to contact the clinic (especially through their website) and they eventually communicated the x-ray results in the weeks that followed. It's frustrating that it took so long (since this negatively affected follow-up care back in Ontario) but it's nice that they eventually responded.

Appointment for my parents check up is at 10.10AM. It's already 10.40AM and we were told there are still 2 patients ahead of us? I hope you have better scheduling system in the future. Please also respect our time ?.

Dr Rasool is good she is listening to you and spends time explaining. I voted 2 stars because of the receptionist experiece. Most comments here are true about the receptionists; they rarely answer phones, keep you on hold for goods and so rude with their roling eyes. The owner needs to get rid of these issues till it's too late. You are doing business.

Atlantic Medical Centee located on Mcphilips Avenue Has a lot to improve on. First and foremost; they constantly try to fit people into these incredibly narrow time windows and then have the audacity to tell people who book appointments that they are behind in time! Granted I'm not expecting to go straight into my appointment but having to wait over an hour past my appointment is appalling. Whats the point of booking an appointment if they're always going to be late. I get it; its a busy time and people have different concerns that mean more time is needed; IF THATS THE CASE, THEN update or fix your scheduling system To accommodate for these things. Instead of 15 minute intervals increase it to 20 or 25 minutes so this doesn't constantly happen. Also the reception feels under staff due to the high volume of people that come here. Also a training course in professionalism should be considered due to the expectation I have when I come to medical clinics. This is a pretty important clinic to a lot of people so i have high expectations; and this needs to be addressed in order for this to be given a higher rating

Always an upsetting experience after an appointment with family doctors at this clinic. I always feel rushed, I don’t feel listened to, I don’t feel cared for & the demeaning tone of voice of the providers is something that does not sit right with me. It’s unfortunate that switching clinics and physicians aren’t the easiest and most convenient process. However, I’m really close to going through that inconvenience to get the care that I deserve from a health provider.

Went in for a walk-in check up. I do expect wait so I came in early (before they opened) and was told I was no.1 on the walk-in list. 2hrs. Past, still waiting. Bad thing is, there was a woman whom I heared was walk in as well but she was called way before me. When we asked how long should we wait more, the attendant said I was no. 4 on the list now. I don't know what happened with that. Considering of moving to a different clinic now.
