About Manitoba Clinic
The Manitoba Clinic is a private, multi-specialty medical clinic, founded in 1946. The Clinic is located adjacent to the Health Sciences Center in the west end of Winnipeg, at the southwest corner of Sherbrook Street and McDermot Avenue.
The Clinic currently occupies 70,000 square feet, with capacity to add an additional 60,000 square feet which is now being planned. As one of Canada’s largest medical clinics, the facility comprises more than 75 physicians, mainly specialists. Manitoba Clinic offers a diverse range of professional medical programs and health care services. A number of commercial tenants such as a pharmacy, optician, delicatessen, and a hearing aid center occupy the main floor of the Clinic complex.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mum and I had an appointment at 6:15 with the dr. After being asked questions we walked in forgetting that he had asked us to sanitize our hands. The guard sitting at his little desk yelled “SANITIZE YOUR HANDS NOW!” It startled me and startled mum to the point of breathing heavy. The building is quiet in the morning, a normal indoor voice would have been acceptable. Not to mention we were going for an appointment where we were both very emotional. Great place for a medical issue, terrible terrible terrible experience with the front guard. Get better ones Manitoba Clinic!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ clean and tidy, lots of waiting areas with up to date magazines . Auto blinds for when the sun Is streaming through ( let’s face it we all need the sun in winter ) good views of Winnipeg . See photo. Patient Friendly smiling staff who are keen to help alleviate those that are nervous only issue is parking in the arcade next door makes it fairly expensive to be sick. Free parking at a casino but getting sick costs you.!!!

Parking is expensive. 3.75 per hour $5 for two hours. I would go for the 2, getting to your appointment can be problematic as the elevators are always filled and when broken times escalate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Rachael Gardner - has now moved to Trucare Medical Clinic - Please notice that the majority of one stars directed at Dr's are a review of this pediatrician. I understand you're a 'professional' and don't need you to be like Dr. Patch Adams but you can pretend to be nice to a child for the 60 seconds you're examining them. I gave you more than 3 chances because thought it was maybe just a bad day, but you presented the same way each time, cold, condescending and uncaring. This was the experience of two parents going to separate appointments over the course of a year. To echo similar experiences posted here; she will dismiss your concerns, be openly rude to you, and leave you feeling like a bad parent. Do your child a favour and find a new doctor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My doctor is great, answers any questions I have, but wait times are insanely long. Waiting minimum an hour over appt time is the norm. But the biggest problem for me is the receptionists here. They are ignorant, continue conversations before even saying hello or acknowledging you are there , and just straight up have no people skills what so ever. I wonder every interaction how they even still have their jobs.
