staff are very nice a friendly , plane is fine for short trips , no tv /radio , flights are long when you have nothing to do on board.

The worst experience, They Couldn't figure out our tickets . Moved our flight multiple times Changed our gate without Any announcement . A three hour flight turned into All day

I have done a lot of flying... This is by far the worst company to go with. We were not kept informed about our planes status. They seem confused and unprepared and they hung up on me multiple times after my canceled flight

Actual 100% true story - i literally saw them take my bag off the flight from my window seat in Dallas - with my name, tags, email and phone number on it. Received my bag, 7 days later (of course i had to follow up myself). Westjet (my connecting flight) apparently contacted them each say for y says for my bag with no response. This degree of terrible service (for which i had zero explanation when asked) is nothing short of shocking

I would just like to inform you of a few unfortunate events that happened on my plane ride home, with your company, from LA today. When I first got on the plane I said hello to the flight attendant who was standing in front of the door and she directed me to go down the second aisle to get to my seat. Before turning down the aisle I looked at my ticket to double check my number and did not notice the two flight attendants standing in the back left corner. As I passed by them I heard a woman's voice say very loudly "I just love being ignored. What is she too pretty to say hello?" I then heard another voice respond loudly "yeah I guess she is too pretty to say hello" I turned around to see who see who could have said something so rude, embarrassing and unprofessional and realized it was one of your flight attendants, in her mid to late 40's, with dark hair that was tied up and pink lipstick, smirking at me. I did not see who the other flight attendant was because I quickly turned around completely embarrassed and appalled by her behaviour. Some of the people in line turned around to look at me as well as some of the clients already sitting down that overheard. Completely embarrassed I continued to my seat and when I got there I noticed someone had put their luggage in my overhead bin. Not knowing whose it was, since I was travelling with someone who had not yet reached their seat, I removed the luggage and put it in the overhead bin across from me. I paid full price for my tickets and like on any other airline I have traveled with the overhead storage belongs to the people sitting in those seats. A flight attendant came along and started yelling asking whose luggage it was because it wasnt put properly in the overhead bin. The flight attendant had short hair worn loose, late 40's, possibly early 50's, and skinny. No one in our section answered, when I informed her that I had moved it because it was in the overhead bin that belonged to me and the other passenger and we both had very expensive items in our luggage and did not want it in someone else's overhead bin for that reason. The flight attendant then started yelling at me, in front of everyone, that the bins were first come first serve and she did not care what I had in my luggage and that the luggage would go wherever there was room. When I quietly explained that I had flown with american airlines before, as well as air France, air canada, United, sunwing, etc and i had seen the other flight attendants move luggage because it belonged to someone in another section, she once again got upset and raised her voice demanding that I move the luggage back to where it was, she did not care what anyone else did since I was on her flight and would follow her rules. I decided not to pursue this any farther since she was becoming visibly upset, raising her voice and other passengers were staring at me. I sat down and could hear her telling the other flight attendants what had happened and claiming I was acting entitled and "who does she think she is". During the entire flight the crew that would pass by me would stare, when they offered me beverages or snacks they were cold and rude; my television stopped working halfway through the flight and I did not want to say anything for fear of upsetting the crew even more. The flight was freezing as well, I had a blanket and was still shivering. When I left the flight I kept my head down because of all the events that took place and as I was leaving the same flight attendant, that made her comment to me when I entered the flight, said very loudly as I passed her "Goodbye to you too". I have never experience something like this in all the years that I have been flying. This was completely unprofessional, rude and extremely embarrassing for me. The girl that was flying with me couldn't believe how your flight attendants behaved and how they continued to act throughout the entire flight. I was on the 7:20 flight from Los Angeles to Philedelphia, Flight number 1799

Check in Desk and Boarding Desk employee nick named MC (Marie Claire?) at the Montreal Quebec Airport, was the absolute best! She helped me get my luggage that seemed impossible to get. I arrived on a Tuesday from California which mi luggage was still in Chicago. My baggage arrived finally Wednesday at 10 pm and never got delivered to my hotel. I went to the airport 3 hours early to try and get my luggage before I left Quebec. The phone system that calls unclaimed baggage in airport put me on hold for a good 40 min. By then I needed to check in and make sure I caught my flight. I couldn't help my tears running down my face when I was checking in because my luggage was so close but I couldn't get it. I told MC what happened and I was lucky enough that she had time to help me out. THANK YOU MC I APPRECIATE IT SO MUCH. GOOD KARMA will come back around and you deserve it. Sat in the plane @ YUL due to delay for an hour. Missed connection flight to MIA when arriving at LaGuardia (NY). Jan 17th, 2020 Was told by the agent to go to gate where the plane MIA will take off, only to find out that other AA agents were completly unaware of the delay. Was initally told that i wouldn't get to MIA until 1am!!! (was suppose to arrive aprox 4-5pm EST). After venting my situation to the staff, only thing they ask was "Well, sir, why didn't you make it to your flight?". They did not try to understand my situation, but only to put me at fault that was out of my control. After numerous attempt to get another flight to MIA, they told me the ONLY choice was to put me into ANOTHER connection flight (reroute to washington --> MIA). After arriving to Washington, i was told to jump into a shuttle bus to get me to another terminal to catch another connection flight. This time the Pilot that it would not be taking off as there were maintenance issue. AGAIN another delay. The attitude from the staff in NY and Washington had no sympathy/heart about the customers. They took no ownership of the situation, which in fact made it worse. During the duration of the whole ideal, none offered any assistance whatsoever. We were left to fend for ourselves. I literally was running around like a chicken without its head. so that meant i had no time to go to bathroom or get a quick byte to eat! 3rd flight from washington to MIA, i was force to check in my carry on as the staff did not enforce on the size/# of carry on passengers were bringing with them. what turned into a flight of 3-5 hrs turned into worst flying experience (15 hrs). I can clearly see the employee motivation is lacking as it shows the way they perform their duties and treat passengers. I highly doubt I'll be hearing from anyone about this. your booking systems SUCKS Will centainly avoid flying with AA at all cost, due to this experience. AA will have to go thru great lengths to get me back.
