I am so thrilled with my recent experience! I have gone to a big box store before and while I never had an issue, I wanted to be closer to home and support local. The exam was fantastic and very informative- learned things about my prescription and also received help for my dry eyes. The ladies that helped me at the desk and picking out my lenses were so kind and helpful, and picking up my glasses I STILL felt cared for even though everything was complete. I can’t wait to continue with care here and if you are reading reviews here, book an appointment :)

I haven't visited for 5 years. I was welcomed back and the staff was courteous, competent and helpful. Dr. Sehn was amazing and very professional.

Great eye exam, helpful staff, and good selection of frames. I am really terrible with shopping so having the optician (Zoe) helped a lot getting me two great pairs that best suited my face. Doctor (Nicole) was super nice and patient with me. I'm a blinker so eye drops are not my favorite but she was able to get them in my eyes with the least amount of discomfort! Just couldn't be any more happy with the service I got!

I have been to this location over the years (3) for everyone in my family,it's usually very fast friendly and informative.NEVER had a terrible experience until who we usually see wasn't available so we were given someone else. I WISH we had waited for ANYONE else. The girls were their usual friendly self, but that was where the niceties ended.I have elderly family members who don't speak English as their first language, and struggle with early onset alzheimers.Imagine my surprise, when informing the optometrist, to be told "ok well only translate what I say and only that" in a tone (excuse me?).Proceed with appointment. Translated just their words as they requested, without explaining so that either of my little humans could grasp what was going on,since she was so rude about it.The little frustrated sighs i was given throughout and needless repetitiveness to explain to me how to translate my own language because it "wasnt working" were hard. The appointment dragged on and my family members were visibly stressed. This clearly wasn't working so I changed to my usual coaching version of translation (the kind that explains what is going on,not "only what I say and only that").We made it through and were able to leave.I understand that work days can be long, people don't eat and there are always outside circumstances, but I haven't had the same problem through legal or GP appointments, hospital visits or even bank meetings.Different walks of life depend on you.Everyone's needs are different,so why in my late 30's as a grown woman fluent in english and my own,was I made to feel like I or my family should be ashamed of speaking our own language, and we're a burden to your work day.We left feeling awful, they were embarrassed for even coming because someone couldnt have a bedside manner? That's not ok.I wish there was a more open minded view taken.

I made an appointmrent for my annual eye exam last week for 11.45 today. I arrived on time and was told it wasn't in the computer, would I like to make another appointment. I had a business card with the details, so I knew it wan't my error. I'm a mid- '80s senior wiith mobility issues - I need a cane or walker - and I drive myself to appointments. It took some effort on my part to get to the appointment on time, only to be told - sorry, another time by a young assistant who could only blame the computer. I have been a patient here for many years and have purchased much in the eyewear section. I am NOT impressed with the 'who carees but sorry' attitude I received. Your business is not what it used to be unfortunately.

Dr.Sehn is the best optometrist I have ever seen. She is so funny, kind, and knowledgeable. She made sure to take the time to communicate everything to me clearly so that I was able to understand the results of the exam and her recommendations going forward. I trust her expertise completely when it comes to my eye care. I can not recommend her enough.Thank you Dr.Sehn for all that you do! And for my new glasses !

This is the best optometrist clinic in Victoria. Very thorough and good explanations. Very child centred. I send all of my patients here as I trust they will be well taken care of and I will get the information I need. Highly recommend!

I’ve been visiting Admirals Walk Optometry for a few yrs now and have experienced nothing short of exceptional service each time. They have helped me fix a pair I sat on out of the goodness of their hearts, now they have helped me with a lost pair. They take the time and genuinely care about their customers. A huge shout out to Zoey, whose knowledge and customer service is phenomenal. She truly is a gem. When thanked for the little extras they do without thinking, she said β€˜It’s just what we do. We want you to be happy’. I am very happy! Thanks to everyone at the store. You guys rock!
