★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have tried coming back here multiple times but the quality of customer service remains consistently low. Why take appointments if you can't fit anyone in? I arrived a few minutes early to my appointment time and waited over half an hour before I decided to leave as no one was available to remove my acrylics, even though they had three different technicians working on one client's nails. They will also not listen to your request for a specific employee to do eyebrows. I was given a new lady who completely ruined my eyebrows, even after asking for a specific employee who I had previously seen (this request was made at the time of making my appointment, several days in advance). The quality of the manicures is also very poor.

I have never had a bad experience here and my technician has always been patient and skilled. Manager Loan is a very kind lady and she checked up with me multiple times during my manicure just to ensure I am satisfied with the colour/shape/service I got; I felt really well taken care of. Absolutely 5-star experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Absolutely Nails for many years now and have used many of the services they offer. I have always been impressed with the Manager, Loan and her involvement with each and every technician as well as each client. She circulates amongst the techs regularly paying close attention to their work and catching concerns before they become issues. A superior quality of any pro-active manager. Sandy, my regular Nail Tech, has been consistently excellent over the years. She offers new suggestions occasionally, which I appreciate, and has always been pleasant and very professional. I highly recommend Absolutely Nails to anyone looking for a professional all - service salon. They take cleanliness and caution, in regards to Covid-19 to the next level. I have recommended many friends, none of which have been disappointed. Kudos to Loan and her team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was given a gift certificate for Christmas so went for a classic mani and pedi. Everyone was really nice and I was taken in on time. My only complaint is that the workers talk in their language amongst each other while doing their work. I personally find that rude but that is just me I can not speak for everyone. Overall it was a good experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s been a long time since I’ve last been here and honestly, their customer service has improved so much! I came in as a walk-in and it happened to be good timing they took me in right away and started on my nails (I think this was just luck) but I paid $65 for a full new set of nails and she did exactly what I wanted! I’m so happy with my nails they’re so pretty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will begin with the info that we have been going to this nail salon for years, and my mother has had the same type of pedicure and tech all those years.
My mother has dementia, the tech knows this. I usually always go with her, but could not as we moved out to the fraser valley. I booked the appt (reg pedicure), had a family member take her, pick out a colour from the wall, and get her settled. The tech took advantage of a vulnerable senior, who is not able to make choices or decisions that she fully understands, and the tech "talked" her into upgrading to a gel pedicure. I am appalled at this. She completely took advantage of my poor mom. As well, the nail colour is actually two colours, it looks like she just tried to paint over the regular nail polish or something. My mothers toe polish looks terrible.
I cannot believe that they elected to "upgrade" their service which meant more money for the salon at the expense of my vulnerable mom.
They have lost two clients that have been with them for almost 8 years.
Now, I know this will probably not change anyone's mind of going to this salon for their nails, but, I think that everyone should be aware of the very shady employees that are in this establishment. Shame on them for this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been coming here for over 3 years now and they never let me down plus they’ve got some really talented nail art specialists, it’s hard to find a good acrylic nail salon but if you’re looking this is it! ❤️ Don’t know where my nails would be without them.
They also do great eyebrow threading and tinting, great with getting the right color for blondes.

I would never recommend going to Rose. I had an appointment booked and arrived home on time to be told there had been a mix up and they’d scheduled me for an hour later. They asked me to wait to see if they could get me in which they did but from the get go, Rose was rude to me, seemed irritated and was extremely rough handling my hands. She complained about my nails and seemed angry that her schedule was messed up. No apology to me for the mix up.
It was the most uncomfortable appointment I have ever been too. She was so rough on my hands….yanking and shoving my hands back and forth and squishing my fingers when filing and painting them. Honestly never felt pain like she inflicted on me while doing my nails. At first I thought I was just being sensitive but it only got worse. By the time I left I had 5 cuticles she had ground down with her dremel leaving them raw and bleeding. I came home and had to bandaged all of them and they are swollen and sore the morning after. I asked for coffin nails and she made them short and stubby not looking at all what I’d asked for. I left to find white nail polish on the skin around my nails from the awful paint job she did on my nails. Absolutely the most ABUSIVE and unprofessional appointment I’ve ever experienced and I would never recommend this salon. I even gave her a tip which was a mistake. $78 for a fill from hell. Don’t waste your time and money with this place. There’s better salons in White Rock.
