During this time his confidence and self esteem have improved immensely, and his grades are reflective of his hard work and efforts. The instructors and staff are wonderful and they are excellent at finding ways to help keep the kids motivated. My daughter was also enrolled in the Math program for just over 2 years and she also improved in her grades and confidence. Highly recommend for anyone struggling in these areas. We appreciate everything the centre has done for us and have enjoyed being part of the Kumon community!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am so excited that my son Jamie just finished his last level reading test and completed the reading program. I am so proud of him. My son has attended Kumon south surrey since 2017 and through the independent learning environment he had an incredible achievement both in English and Math. The instructors are very professional and encourage him to set the goals and through persistent efforts to achieve his goals. Studying at Kumon means a lot to him, I sincerely thank to Mr. and Ms. Marno and all the instructors in Kumon south surrey!

The most important thing about Kumon is not just improving your skills at reading and math, but developing a habit to study independently and consistently, working hard every day. We are confident that because of Kumon our daughters will be very successful at whatever field of study or occupation they choose for their future selves

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kumon White Rock has been amazing for both my kids. It has provided them with the ability to tackle problems independently, given structure to their routine and made them motivated to work hard and excel in any goals that they may set for themselves. Influence of Kumon goes beyond academics, and you see the fruit of all the effort as kids go through various stages at their schools. My kids have picked up a lifelong love for reading because of Kumon and are ahead of their peers in mathematics. Its a great program if you are a parent who wants to be involved with your kids’ learning. It will not work for families who need a quick fix, It requires a commitment both from parents and students, and the dividends from this commitment are huge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this center when we moved in this area so i can switch my kids from another center to this one but the way they treat you I decided not too. I rather drive 40min then goto this one right by my house. First of all they were really rude they makes me feel like they are doing me a favor when clearly we are paying for there service which they incapable doing on top that there customer service they need to learn how to communicate after all they are "learning center" I am glad i didn't switch. Think twice before you take you kids to this center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a student at Kumon for the reading program and I believe that the Kumon process has really helped me with my English skills. I have been introduced to so many great works of literature through this program, and it has really opened my eyes to the world of the written word.
Kumon is definitely an incredibly impactful program only to the people who are truly dedicated to working for their own success. If followed through and completed, despite the challenges along the way, I believe that completing the program is well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have studies at Kumon for almost 5 years. It was a really fun experience. The Kumon math program was especially helpful to me. I have had been the top of my class ever since. Now I am in grade 10 and studying grade11 math because of my great foundation at Kumon. I recommend studying at Kumon because it benefits you in so many ways, such as self learning skills, quick understanding of concepts ect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a Kumon parent for over 9 years. We started at this location over 3 years ago. The owner is very egocentric and unprofessional. She herself has not completed the Kumon math program and it clearly shows when she is asked for help. If you were to visit the centre and sit in their waiting room, you will eye witness the amount of racism and talking down they do to the parents who struggle with speaking English. The owner’s husband will openly be rude to your child if he does not like you or them. I was told by the authorities (RCMP) today that because they are privately owned, they can amend their policy and their rules at any given time, just to please their ego. Targeted hate is what they definitely excel at. Sadly my boys both did well with the Kumon program, but this centre is merely run as a money making business rather than a true learning centre. This centre tend to flaunt their awards, which they think they earned because of how they run this centre. However, the truth is that most of the students attending this facility are of Asian decent, who don’t even attend the centre. They simply collect the work and complete at home and return back to the centre. The owners do nothing to earn this success, it is simply the smart Asian students producing the excellent results making this centre look good. I would think twice before signing a contract with this location. They will stoop as low as robbing a child of their hard earned Kumon dollars just to pay and reward their own ego.
