S	S N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family and I rented kayaks here. Al and his business partner are so kind and accommodating! Al really did us a favour by lending us parking permits that were close to his kayaking pad. Parking is quite pricey otherwise and parking enforcement is really stringent here. The kayaks are very clean and he had a variety of kayaks for those of beginner level to intermediate. They also had many life jackets and assisted us in getting suited to kayak. They gave us a quick run-down of how to paddle and kept watch over us using their binoculars. Finally, the pricing of the kayaks are great in comparison to other places like the harbourfront or frenchman's bay. They take cash or credit payments. The water is also very clean so you can go swimming afterwards or enjoy the parks and little town nearby. Al gave us restaurant recommendations like the Mariposa and it was a quaint little bakery/restaurant with lustrous cakes. We'll surely be visiting again. Thank you! :)

They were able to accommodate our large group of 13 people, going the extra mile to get us more kayaks and being very patient with us through the entire process. The kayaks and paddle boards were very easy to use, and all of us had a great time even though many were beginners. The couple looked out for us the entire time we were on the lake to make sure we didn’t run into any troubles, too.

I was in the hunt for a company to go ice fishing with, messaged A breath of fresh air at midnight and by 8 am, got a response from them. Very quick responses, very easy to work with. Very helpful owners. The day of the ice fishing, met Al at the parking lot and he was very helpful with assisting us with our own belongings to be brought to the huts, explaining how to work the heaters in the huts, and even accommodating us with our needs. Unfortunately, we didnt catch any fish that day, but that is not on them. The huts are very comfortable, warm especially on a windy day out on the lake. The best part, we dropped a cellphone in the water, and Al was a huge huge help in helping us retrieve years of children pictures by helping us get the phone back! I mean that is phenomenal customer service! Next time I'm looking for outdoor activities out on Lake Couchiching, I'd be contacting A Breath of Fresh Air first!

All equipment was provided (rods and tip-ups), and a propane heater kept us warm throughout a blustery day on the lake. Would definitely return in the future.
