Best Flooring store in Canada

B	Bruce Cyr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's unfortunate that we have to give the lowest stars. Our first Experience was great all round. We just had flooring and carpet installed and the flooring job is great but the finishing of the 1/4 round is at best OK. We have contacted them several times and this "manager" Jindy Bains is useless at best!!! We have 3 boxes of flooring that was ordered by them that needs to go back but they want to charge 30% restocking fee!!! For something they ordered!!! Jindy is a a waste of time and takes days to get back to you. Each job we had to clean up because the installers come with NOTHING to cleanup with!!! They didn't put our furniture back (yet we are charged to move the furniture and return it to place). The flooring installer comes with a small truck and can't take the garbage or cuts with him cause he has no room!!! This is the worst experience you could ever want with a place. Still waiting on JINDY BAINS to resolve the issues before we pay our final bill.

Paulo, Trent and Richard are the best installers I have ever dealt with. These men came to work on time every day, worked hard putting their fullest effort to make sure every room was perfect. I cannot say enough about these gentlemen, I would highly recommend them to everyone. The flooring is outstanding. Also I cannot say enough about the professional staff of A1 Flooring. Jindy handled all arrangements from day one. I would highly recommend his services to all. The entire staff of A1 Flooring is great.

I came to this location after an experience from St. Catherines location and the Welland location blew me away on how helpful they were. They helped me find what I was looking for, even helped me load it up. 5 star customer service!!!!
L	Laura Mannell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over promised and underdelivered. We initially chose A1 because they were helpful in store, and told us we could have our install done within 3 weeks. When we called to book, we were told “Jindi spoke out of turn, and we are actually booking 6+ weeks out.” We found out Friday afternoon that our Monday tile install was cancelled because they couldn’t track down the installer they had booked for us. They offered to book us in a month later instead. With a baby due, that was not an option for us. Thankfully they found us an installer who could start on the Wednesday instead, however, the materials A1 had ordered for us were awful and left a terrible mess, and had our installer opting to use some of his own materials instead. A1 mangled cutting our sill piece, setting the entire job back two days while we waited for another. During the cutting process they also scratched our sill piece. We are now left with a not so brand new looking shower. Waste of our money and time. DO NOT USE A1 FLOORING. The only saving grace was the installer.

Multiple issues with installer, to the extent of him cutting a radiator pipe resulting in our floor flooding. I don't remember names, but the lady that answers the phone is extremely rude. When the job was finished 9 months after starting, we were then expected to pay immediately and told that they will not guarantee the hardwood floor because it was already replaced 4 times due to the installer using the wrong glue, and explained the loss the company took. Not impressed and would never recommend.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. He sure knew what he was talking about. We also had Ann from the store help us with some tile selection while Peter was off that day. She was an absolute pleasure to talk too and was also very helpful. The floor tiles were installed by Paul who did a fantastic job. Very friendly and skilled. Did his best to save on material while not comprising his work. The floor looks fabulous and we are very happy customers. Great experience overall....
