Great place to walk, run, take the dog out for a stroll around the canal. There is parking for your vehicle, docks to fish, places to sit if you want to relax. In the Spring and into Fall the Canadian Geese are on the canal path, be careful as they do lounge around near the water as well.

The best place to go swimming! This year its never busy because of everything going on, but apparently this place always has things going on! The current is so calm, perfect for kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, you name it! There's no real boats so that's awesome. The only worry is seaweed and goose poop lol the seaweed grows pretty quickly but you can always find a spot to swim. Its never busy this year and always a good time. Washrooms aren't open as of writing this so keep that in mind. Some little fish are swimming as well.

I like to sail my various radio controlled sailboats here when there aren't any competitions going on. Nice docks, clean water and rarely any big waves, lots of paths to walk along or just sit in my lawn chair and sail. It gets a bit harder to sail later in the summer season when the weeds start to float around and get snagged on my rudder etc., but in the spring and fall it's great.
