I used to comparison shop by going to Toronto and realized this was a error. Staying local saves time, money, and the product is way better. It's way smarter to shop and this store. The new owner is an awesome dude too. They really look after you here. Love everything. Regular customers get discounts. Love everything.

We only take our skates here to be sharpened and if we can’t make it the skates wait until we can take them here. Rob in particular went out of his way to stay late when we had an urgent need for a part for a hockey helmet or my son wouldn’t be able to play. He didn’t need to, I didn’t ask him to but he offered because he knows the passion these kids have for their sport. I couldn’t have been more grateful. That’s beyond great customer service! Thank you Rob to you and your staff over the years. You truly are the best!

I'm glad to find a new spot close to home. Also bought some other items while I was here. Super helpful , polite, and knowledgeable. Definitely found my new spot for all my hockey (and another sportsport) needs! Thanks for the unreal service!!

I’m a freestyle skier, and I haven’t been skiing with poles for awhile because the ones I have were way too long. I couldn’t get the grips off to cut them down at home myself, so I took them into SFS on my way to the hill one morning. Rob got the grips off and cut them down to where I wanted. He wouldn’t charge me anything & then told me to have fun. I tried giving him cash & he still wouldn’t take it. He was so nice, welcoming & wen’t above and beyond to help me, expecting nothing in return. I 150% recommend going here if you need literally anything, you won’t find better customer service anywhere else !

Secondly, I was greeted in a friendly manner as soon as I came in and the man would helped me find used skates for my daughter was so kind and helpful. They were outstanding and very professional. He measured her feet, sharpened them up for her and got everything she needed. He made this first time skating experience great for her. The cashier was so polite and kind to my daughter as well. Can’t say enough great things, we will be back for sure!
