Nice staff and the doctor was quick and professional. Only needed an eye exam but it was great.

I usually just ignore the bad reviews if there is a few but I had a very bad experience myself and want to warn others about this place. I went there for my son to get glasses. On his first eye exam I found out he needed glasses, I went to the front and picked a pair of glasses. The lady never told me prices or suggested according to budget or anything “my mistake for not asking” so they ended up charging me 200$ for prescription and 175$ for a kids frame. No problem, i paid for it. I get an appointment within 3 months to follow up because my son turns out to have a condition that needs check up. It wasn’t fully explained but I trust a doctor. On my following appointment turns out his eye prescription went down by 2 and needs a new prescription. Now they suggests eye drops and this 899$ special lease for his condition or a regular new prescription for 200$. I asked the lady for a regular new prescription because I don’t have 899$ upfront. She agrees. I asked her if she needed his Glasses since I had an extra at home I had a plan to leave an old pair but she said “no we have the measurements for his current glasses already in the system, we’ll call you when the lense is ready and we can put it in” okay, She calls me the same week saying they are ready and for me to come in. I was supposed to bring his glasses for them to put the lense in and pay. I go in, she tells me I have to leave his glasses for them to make the lense and that I will be the 899$. I told her I didn’t ask for that and she said I did and that i was wrong. I remember telling her I did not have money for that and why didn’t they tell me they needed his glasses? I could have brought the old ones but now I’m most likely to buy new ones because he needs his glasses to see and the new lense will take a week. That’s just ridiculous and she kept insisting I asked for the 899$ special lense. I walked out in frustration not knowing what to do. They had already taken all my insurance money on my first appointment. I cooled down and called a few eye doctors the next day. I found a good one and it turns out this special prescription for special leases is actually 699$ and I took him for a second evaluation and the doctor said I was given a wrong prescription that was way stronger than what my son actually needed. the doctor also said that you can either take the drops or buy the special prescription, he didn’t understand why I had to do both for my child. That there is studies based on that, it’s either one or the other but not both at the same time. The secretary asked me If I had an old pair or glasses I wanted to leave there, leave his current one or buy new ones. Why couldn’t this clinic asked the same thing? Maybe they are just money hungry. Disgusting. I don’t recommend. Might give you a fake prescription just to take your money.

Leaving this as a warning to other customers - I went in a couple years ago for an eye exam with Dr Singh based off of the good reviews and was told I needed prism lenses (prior to this I’d only ever work minimal prescriptions mostly for extended periods of reading). I felt confused because the prism prescription they gave me were quite strong - 5BI and 3BU as in one side was 5mm thick on one side - and I’d never had an optometrist suggest these before for me though I’d had multiple checkup eye exams. I spent hundreds of dollars getting these expensive prescription lenses and glasses frames to find out from another optometrist at a later checkup that I don’t actually need prism prescriptions at all. This optometrist seemed extremely confused as to why someone would prescribe me such a strong prism lens for no apparent reason. Luckily there’s no permanent damage to my eyes but there easily could have been. Would strongly suggest going to a different optometrist and to get a second opinion if they suggest something unusual.

Went for an eye exam last Friday March 11, 2022. I cannot complain. I saw Dr Amanvir Kahlon; and I have to say that the eye exam went very well. She took her time; while performing a very comprehensive examination of the eyes. She also explained the process step by step. This was the first comprehensive exam that I've ever had. All of my prior eye examinations were just basic. The exam cost just a fraction of the price; I was presented with for a comprehensive eye exam at another place on the Danforth. I would go back there again! I am here to say that one should not give up on a place based on a few negative reviews!

Came in with a concern of glass in my eye and the staff were super calming and professional throughout the whole procedure. Couldn’t say enough good things about the doctor, he was super good at communicating what he saw and what was going on. I highly recommend this place for anyone who has nerves or jitters during appointments they handle it amazing.

I had to get an eye exam today. Dr. Singh was not only cool but very knowledgeable, through and through thorough and a very caring professional. The staff were also amazing. They were patient with me and helped pick my new glasses. I genuinely recommend this location.

Such a lovely place to be! We went there seeking a yearly check up for our 5yo son and Goodness! Dr. Sighs approach and handling was truly professional and unworldly. He knows what he does and what to talk and how to talk with kids, which i believe is a rare quality to find these days! My son who was a bit unhappy visiting a clinic, had a complete different, but beautiful and enjoyable experience. We loved the service we were give. Receptionist and cleanliness was superb too. I highly recommend for parents with a child to visit this place! Trust me you won't regret it. ?

From entering the building, conversing with the receptionist to seeing the doctor, the entire experience was amazing. I wasn't rushed and was dealt with professionally and warmly all at the same time. The doctor really gives the impression that's she cares about my eye sight and its overall health. She ensured that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. I have found a home for all my eye related services. I 100% recommend.
