★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend Graham at 1985 Guitar Co. for work on electronics, setup, and intonation. Had him repair my 90's era Ibanez w/Floyd Rose whammy for a gig. He had it repaired ahead of schedule and working like new. Let the guitar player from the other band play it for a song, and afterwards he was raving about the guitar, and the set up.

Total cost came lower than the estimated quote which was nice surprise. Was quite thorough with explaining what he was going to do, and what he might do and what options I had. Not really any bad things to be said, will definitely be bringing more bass guitars in the future.

I trust him with Vintage and new guitars. Quick and reliable. Very lucky to have 1985 in this little city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Graham is an expert at what he does. His attention to detail is remarkable and he is an exceptionally great listener. I came to Graham with my Fender Stratocaster, which was having some intonation troubles, something extremely important to me as I use this instrument to record. It also needed some fret, nut and saddle work. Graham made me feel listened to. He thoroughly inspected my guitar during the initial consult, diagnosing the issues with professional precision and explaining to me exactly what he thought needed to be done to get the most out of my instrument. Everything was done in a timely manner and when I got my Strat back, everything felt and sounded perfect. I feel relieved being able to record without worrying about intonation and my guitar feels more comfortable to me now. Graham is someone you can trust to help you get the most out of your instrument. He goes above and beyond to give you the right setup. I will be back with my other instruments!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Graham was incredibly helpful, he listened to me describing the issues with my banjo, and quickly began planning solutions and outlining them to me. He returned my banjo in a timely manner, in pristine condition, and clearly explained what he had done, and answered all my questions along the way.
He charged a reasonable rate for his services, and assured me if there were any issues or if I was dissatisfied, he would make it right.
I will definitely be returning here if I have any banjo/guitar care concerns in the future!
