About YJ Massage
We are humbled to be able to share our story on how we came to be. YJ Massage is situated in the Bridlewood community of Calgary. Our business is operated as a family business and as a result, our office is in the basement portion of our home. We have committed ourselves to create a space in our home that is welcoming, relaxing, and safe. At the same time, we strive to keep our prices competitive and our services top notch and easily accessible.
It all started after the mother of the household became a single mom with two children to look after. The older one is going through university and helps out when he can, but the younger one is still very young. The mother, a RMT did not have a very stable job, but nevertheless had to provide for the household.
While she was working at massage clinics across Calgary, she noticed something about the industry. As it turns out, the massage therapy industry is becoming competitive, and at the same time there is an economic downturn in Calgary as oil prices dropped. As a result, incumbents are competing with each other only through lowering their prices just to stay afloat.

Professional, kind, organized to say the least.
Susan is a woman who knows what she is doing.
She released tension I didnβt know I had.. I was harboring tension that I guess became part of the norm for myself.
The incorporation of western and Chinese practice that she uses during the session is incredible.
Personally I will never go see another RMT again.
Iv never felt so amazing coming out of a massage before.
Itβs amazing how in just one session, I feel so relieved!
I will continue to follow with her practice!
I highly recommend !
Bonus they do provide billing for most major insurance companies.

β β β β β Excellent experience overall. There was no shortage of pressure when needed. The atmosphere was great and Susan was very attentive. She had me feeling relieved upon leaving and her Son Peter was able to directly bill to my insurance which was great. I will definitely be back for a second visit.

β β β β β This new massage clinic is simply the best! Susan is very nice and very good at what she does. You will really feel relaxed after she massages you. I also like the mother and son team behind this home based business! With Susan as the massage therapist and her son Peter as the manager who assists her with the day to day operations of the clinic.
I highly recommend YJ Massage. The facility is clean and organized. The ambiance is relaxing and peaceful. They do direct billing to insurance companies which is very convenient for their customers. Also, Susan and Peter are the best mother and son team I have ever encountered. I just love it when I see family members help each other.

β β β β β Susan is a great RMT! Iβve had to find a closer massage parlour as my usually location in DT has had gone on hiatus since COVID. Been to Susan 3 times now! Her relaxation and therapeutic massage are really good! She does directly billing too which is a plus!

β β β β β She has you fill out a form on what areas you want worked on and yet doesn't even work those areas anymore than others. She wears rubber gloves which changes the massage with the squeaky noise and stickiness. I will not be going back. Massage was sub-par

The only thing I would suggest because it is out of her home, well I was laying on the massage table in the basement nice like a office waiting, she was screaming her head off at somebody her kid I'm assuming, as loud as she could slamming doors not a good thing to do with the customer lying in the massage bed made me very uncomfortable. Just hearing that part was uncomfortable the massage itself was great.
