I was in this school from Kindergarten until grade 2, until I moved away. I really do miss this school as well as the teachers. I started going to this school in 2009 and stopped in 2012. The years in that school will never be forgotten.

Hey I've been in this school for six years ever since it was built from grade 1 for me till grade 6 and they made learning fun. I really do miss this school and the teachers. Now I am in Junior High Samuel W Shaw School. But Bridlewood school was a GREAT school and I recommend you to go here.

Terrible experience all round. Lies and manipulation by current administrators of a target on my daughters back for the new school she will do excellently at. Family liaisons don't help with that sort of stuff so don't bother them. Area 5 office CBE needed a better administrative review process for two of the top 5 worst human beings I've ever encountered in my life. They should definitely need to lose their jobs and their pensions they work so little for.

This school was the worst memory of my life. Everyday my anxiety went up, everyday I got bullied, EVERYDAY I felt like I didn’t even exist. Everyone EVERYONE Is so rude there and it’s the worst school that i’ve been to. (I’ve been to a lot.) Nobody ever cared, when I was sitting alone nobody cared they all laughed at me. When I had nobody to sit with at lunch everyone made fun of me. When I was trying to peacefully learn they always made comments. When I tried to be nice nobody listened. And I don’t care if you know me and you were one of my teachers. Not gonna lie there was so many good ones. But i’m not gonna name them. And don’t forget how i had to almost fake sick everyday because I had to pretend to use the washroom just to cry because everyone is so so so mean. I will never ever forget you Bridlewood school. And that memory book? Yeah, it’s ripped apart in the trash. So if your thinking about ging to this so called “school” don’t because yes even if there wasn’t any bullying they don’t even teach you anything. ?

I was there from k-6. And it was horrible. The teachers there aren’t the best. Don’t get me wrong there were some good ones, but they all left to other schools. There was also a lot of bulling. The school said they don’t tolerate it, but they did nothing to stop the students from bullying other students. There was also a lot of homophobic comments my last year there. And they did nothing big to stop it. This school has really harmed my mental health. And I hope other people have a better time there, then I did.

My children just started at this school last month. But I only have good things to say. My son is special needs, they accepted him without his funding as another school already has it. My son made it 9 days in before and after school care before being kicked out as there was no attempt to work with him or understand him what so ever and he was targeted and degraded in front of his peers which put him into fight or flight there. He has behaviours that are easily manageable by a person with patience and experience for children. His teacher at Bridlewood school has been a breath of fresh air. She has gained his trust quickly and learned how to work with him and get him to calm down easily just by giving him some patience and understanding. You can see the compassion she has for him just by the difference In his behaviours and mood in class vs after school care and the difference in how he is treated and respected as a human being. She also does not target him and expect him to feel uncomfortable all of the time, she teaches others how to understand him as well so that everyone feels included, heard and safe. She doesn’t make it seem he is a always a problem or inconvenience and understands that he has needs as well. It’s amazing how she is with him and it’s such an amazing difference from his last school. I am so appreciative that he has her. My daughters teacher is also amazing. She was very shy and afraid her first day and her teacher took her in to help set up for the day. She felt very special to be able to do that. She has opened up beautifully and absolutely loves school and her teacher.

I wish I could give this school 0 stars. Lets be real, the pandemic caused our children allot of instability, lots of sadness, chaos and so on. Finally schools opened back. I would have hoped schools would have shown more kindness and compassion to the children that have been struggling the last 2 years, struggling to adjust back into routine, school and so on. Bridlewood is the worst school I have ever come across. I wish I never placed my children here. They do not care about your children. They do not care about special needs children. They do not care about helping them and you to give them the best start back into normalcy. These teachers they clearly do not want to be there. Moment a child is struggling just a tad, they kick the child out of school. That is not good for their self esteem. Then to top it off, they leave you hanging out to dry, giving you zero resources to teach your children, but wont formally kick out the child, just leaves of absence, assuming so they can continue to collect funding for your child that is not even attending because Bridlewood does not want to deal with children with disabilities. They do not want to educate your children. They do not want to do their jobs period. The principal of this mess of a school, is honestly the worst one. They do not care if your child is being bullied, physically hurt by other children. Actually if your child is the one to speak up and "annoy" the teacher, your child is the one getting in trouble... If you want to give your child the worst possible start send them here. If not, steer very clear from this school and the people that work here. They will only mentally harm your children.
