★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always great quality food. I have been coming to this sushi place since I was 15. I’m 21 now and I have yet to taste a dish I didn’t like from Li Ao. The staff are friendly and accommodating. It’s always very clean inside and great to invite multiple friends to. The parking is good. My favourite dishes are the salmon sashimi, the takoyaki, the yam tempura special, and the cheesy crab bombs. Highly recommend to those interested to check this place out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been coming to LiAo for sushi since they opened, and even though we’ve moved away to another province, we still make a point of coming back when we are in town.
The portions are generous, the fish is fresh, and the service is fantastic. This is a great gem in the suburbs and it never disappoints. We’ve had worse sushi for higher prices at more pretentious locations, and it always makes us homesick for LiAo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this sushi place for the first time because it’s close to home and will definitely not be back. Not only is it overpriced, but the price does NOT match the quality of the food. The salmon sashimi was not fillet properly and there were lots of bones. The deep fried tofu wasn’t fried at all and it was extremely mushy. The seaweed salad barely had any seaweed in it and it was mostly lettuce for the price. We also got the spicy salmon salad and lobster salad and the avocado in it was brown. The only good part about the order was the takoyaki, and the food was prepared fast so I’m willing to give 2 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tasty, fresh, affordable, friendly. I'll be back! Loved that they had low sodium soya sauce. Other guests were engaging in fun conversation with the gentleman server, they sounded like regulars who enjoy coming back for the food AND excellent service.
