Yelo'd Ice Cream & Bake Shoppe - Edmonton

The service is one of the best I have encountered. Due to allergies, I asked the server which flavour I could eat. At first, she accidentally told me I could eat a flavour that, upon further review, contained something I was allergic to. I hadn't even taken a bite of it yet, but she quickly realized her mistake and offered me an ice cream on the house :)

Really good soft serve ice cream. I had the purple yam flavour in a regular cone. Wish there was a snack size cone. Long line up when we went so be prepared to wait a while.

I really love their ice cream! It's very milky & the flavours are quite mild. The ube is a classic if you're craving that Filipino hit from your ice cream; it's a niche place for Filipino/Asian inspired flavours. I do find that their formula for their base isn't very stable & melts rapidly...

The staff were very friendly and helpful in suggesting which flavors pair well together. The ice cream was incredible! If you're looking for something delicious and unique then try the Ube and Snickerdoodle soft serve swirl. Loved Yelo'd and will definitely be back!

I went to this place for the first time. There was a line up because there’s no inside store. I didn’t mind because I thought it would be worth it. I had two kids with me and obviously the line up wouldn’t be good for them but was able to keep them amused in the side of a street until we were up. Unfortunately the item I wanted was sold out. I mentioned it would have been nice to know since I just waited in line for 20 minutes. They said there’s only two people working and sorry for not being able to do anything about that. I asked why 2 people working would have anything to do with telling people they are sold out of a limited menu to begin with. I guess the girls complained about my attitude. ?‍♂️. I thought it was possibly helpful to their business. They said it wasn’t right to complain to them because they just work there. Lol. ?. Then I guess the workers can’t handle criticism which is unfortunate if you want your business to grow. Reminds me of the effects of cancel culture. My opinion doesn’t matter. I was basically told to kick dirt. Don’t upset our workers with criticism. Not sure why your not allowed to express an opinion anymore. I wasn’t mad and didn’t make a fuss. It was just my opinion and they canceled it in front of everyone. My daughter was upset and embarrassed. The kids didn’t like the ice cream or the waffle cone. They through out half of it which I’ve never seen before. The two kids and I have voted no to returning to this place again. The staff should be taught on how to deal with customers better.

Purple yam is so great, you must try it! However, it was a little too sweet… so I would recommend the Affogato because the espresso will mitigate the sweetness.

Staff are always friendly, and the ice cream is definitely something special no matter the weather. Every now and then they'll have limited run items, the Macau egg tart milkshake with boba has definitely topped my list.

First time trying Yelo'd Ice Cream. Great flavour and texture. I wish they had more flavours. It would be nice to be able to order inside the store instead of waiting outside (especially when it’s raining or cold outside).
