About Caffè Sole
Humble Beginnings Lead to Rapid Success
Our story begins in the fall of 1993, when I opened our first espresso bar in Tijuana, Mexico. At the time, I had realized there was no one else providing the high-quality espresso drinks I had grown accustomed to enjoying in cafes just over the border in San Diego.
Our espresso bar was the first of its kind in the area—and it quickly became a success. Eventually, we found ourselves as the go-to specialty espresso bar and lounge, frequented by several generations of the city’s most passionate coffee lovers.
Nearly 25 years later, destiny has brought us to Canada. Although we’re now in a brand-new place, we maintain our desire to create the rich espresso drinks that made us famous back in Mexico.
Above all else, we aim to offer the best-quality ingredients as we craft your tea, espresso and chocolate drink experience—each and every time. At SOLE, we stand behind all our products. If, for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, just let us know. We’ll make it right.

In fact, we use coffee beans that produce the smoothest, most palatable espresso you’re likely to find anywhere in the world. And, we use an artisan-crafted version of Mexican chocolate that gives our chocolate-based drinks the truly unique flavor profile for which we’ve become so well known.

Addition :. This is my second visit today and as last time, the small little cafe met my expectations . I had breakfast sandwich and Luna coffee . Sandwich is simply delicious. I have to come here more frequently to try their other stuffs.

The coffee truly is some of the best I've ever had and the food is incredible. The meat they use is so fresh and full of flavour. Caffè Sole is a beautiful hidden gem and everyone should check this place out for a great meal for a great price!

I love finding places like this, my gf and I arrived and noticed that we were probably one of the first customers of the day.
The owner was the one who took our order, he was very pleasant to talk to and gave us a brief overview of the history of the place and when they first opened up.
The food menu looked amazing and it didn't disappoint us at all. I ordered the "1" item under the Food menu. It was this super delicious sandwich that had Genoa meat as the main meat. The sandwich was balanced well with the perfect amount of meat, veggies and sauce. I didn't feel like I had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite, the bread tasted fresh from the oven; it really was that good!
I ordered one of the Signature drinks, the Lyra. If you like the taste of mint you'll love this drink, my gf also ordered this item.
She ordered the "4" item under the Food menu, it had Brie, fig jam and arugula. Who knew these ingredients would be so tasty?
During our time here we noticed that this place supports local artists and they display items you can purchase on the walls and the shelves.
I enjoyed my visit here and I'd recommend this Cafe to all my friends and family!
