Please note that I do not provide: couples' or family counselling, formal psychological assessments (such as return-to-work or ADHD testing), or services for work-related psychological injuries (WCB) or cases with legal/court involvement.
Psychologists' standards of practice recommend avoiding potential dual relationships and conflicts of interest with clients. Because of my family's connection with Strathcona and Avalon schools, I'm not able to see teachers, staff, or students from those schools. I also cannot see the partner/spouse or an immediate family member of a current or recent client. I'd be happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues in any of the above circumstances.
Please note that for any video or phone services, as per guidelines from the College of Alberta Psychologists, the client must be physically located in the province of Alberta at the time of the appointment.
