I am very impressed with Gary's credentials and experience and I strongly believe that he would be a great fit for me because I have severe OCD. I unfortunately, need a sliding scale because I am on Aish.

I went to see Dr. Gary J Meiers for couples counciling. He in 1.5 hours ($280.00) he didn't once give us advice on what might help us or things we should try. He didn't give us anything to work on and both my wife and I left there feeling worse about our marriage then we did when we went in. Neither one of us felt he helped at all.

I've been through childhood trauma, addiction and I also suffer from adhd and depression. I was in volatile relationship and Dr Gary Meiers has been so supportive and helpful to me. When i was having a break down over the state of my relationship he has been there to talk to me on the phone to help me process what's going on. All of this was out of the goodness of his heart when time was available to him. He is definitely one of the best out there and I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help. He is so knowledgeable and has a broad spectrum of things he can help with. Thank you Dr Meiers!! :)

To agree with the other less than stellar review by Mr Owen Smith, validated by four anonymous thumbs up. Our brief encounter with Dr Meiers failed to ameliorate our situation, the costly price tag of $190.00 - $280.00 not reflecting the services we were given. Dr Meiers unprofessional conduct was evident in both our group family session as well as in the single and final individual session. Explicitly pointing towards myself both instances saying verbatim “people like you are the reason why I have a job.” The audacity to belittle your clients so blatantly to their face, leveraging the power of being a PHD psychologist supposedly helping those in need is outright unethical. Honestly in retrospect some of the sessions just felt like hour and a half long ego stroke sessions for himself, while he breadcrumbs you to continue spending money. And in that last and final session he had me fill out a whole bunch of papers where he dismissed himself with a literal door slam. Sending me the message that he controlled me/us and our time/money evidently making us waste it. And if you choose to continue with sessions you are asking to be disrespectful further. So I got the hint and cancelled our follow up session via phone. And as I write this I also remember him in that same individual session trying to pry into my finances asking intrusive questions into how much I was making, completely irrelevant to the situation we were addressing at the time. A lot of moments with Dr Meiers harkens back to the incessant ego stroking which he covertly tries to deride.
