★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing local cafe, super friendly staff! Coffee is always fresh. Scones/baked goods are to die for and baked fresh every day. Scone menu changes daily, good prices, so good! Have gone here before and will keep returning. 5/5 Great job Overflow! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Massive hair in my sandwich :( I got a pretzel sandwich on Dec 22 from this cafe and bit into it to discover a massive long hair in the middle of the sandwich! For the price you pay for these sandwiches I would hope they are assembled with more care and awareness than this… super gross

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They got our order wrong. We didn't even realize it and were perfectly happy with what was served to us until we heard someone call us. We turned around to find the poor barista had run us down after a whole block just to get our right order.
The new order tasted even better, and what service! Nothing but impressed. Thank you for a great experience. We'll be back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can say that Overflow wasn't overflowing with customer service today. I've visited 20+ times going back to the previous operators and I can't say I ever had an experience like this.
The barista took exception that I was fumbling with my mask and didn't have it completely on before I exited the entry vestibule (it was in my hands and I was fumbling to out my phone away as I entered). Her comments were unnecessary ... and even if she felt compelled to say something, which everyone is entitled to these days, it could have been handled with respect. Or maybe I'm old fashioned that way?!
I'll think twice about visiting again. It's a 3/5 because I've never had a bad coffee. But it doesn't matter ... when that happens upon your arrival, everything tastes bitter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love their fireball (cinnamon) lattes and the egg scone (my favorite is spinach and feta). My partner also loves their breakfast burritos with the refried beans. The staff are always lovely and easy going and the walk up window is nice if you want the distance. I've come here multiple times and I will keep going.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a Vanilla London Fog and a blackberry scone. Service was lovely. Food/beverage was standard. Couldn't taste any vanilla in the London fog and the scone was tasty but small. There's also hardly any seating there just as a heads up! Just a standard cafe so I wouldn't make a point of going back.
