on friday i waited for 5 cabs and they all canceled so i phoned and they said one was on the way and because i was at the airport area there were a bunch of cabs around. i waited for 1 hour at 12am not wanting to walk up my hill because there are no street lights and it’s dangerous but had to anyways because no one would accept my cab request. very disappointed on how things went and will probably not use yellow cab again.

My cab driver had rude/offensive comments . He also dropped me off on the road. Did not even pull over into a safe area for me to get out. However yellow cab is always prompt. It is good about being much quicker than the alternative. However if you have nothing nice to say to your fair. Maybe say nothing (or only basics) I don’t mind a quiet ride.

Clean car arrived within 5 minutes. Driver was polite. Overall excellent experience. My previous experiences with taxis weren't so good. This was a nice surprise!

Firstly the two drivers I had were awesome, first from airport to hotel, very knowledgeable & friendly to tourists. Second was an absolute hero as he had just finished his night/early am shift, was driving away from the airport & happened to spot us walking to the airport with heavy luggage. He spun round & gave us a lift the rest of the way (free of charge). Not many would do this after just finishing your shift, LEGEND. I’ve given Yellow Cabs one star because as a business they’re an absolute joke. They state they are β€˜24 hrs/365 days a year’ excuse me while I pick myself up from the floor. Needed a taxi from hotel to airport at 3am. Was told night before to phone at 2am & would be fine to get one. No answer from 2am until 3:30am so had to WALK 45 mins with heavy luggage through the rain. Please don’t ever rely on this cab company!

I switched from Victoria taxi to Yellow cab and I've always had good service until recently. I don't understand the issue when drivers have GPS my house is very easy to find but last week I tried to book a ride and the driver just cancelled it because I didn't answer his call when he was on his way even though we were waiting outside already. And tonight I tried to book a ride and the driver lied and send I was picked up and dropped off even though I asked for a round trip

Didn't show up on time for a pre-scheduled pick up at the Best Western emerald Isle in Sydney BC. Called the cab company to get another cab and shortly thereafter received a phone call from the female dispatcher who was rude and lectured me about calling for another cab and making it inconvenient for them and so on.... Then as soon as I let her finish her ranting I said excuse me ma'am..... And she hung up on me. Then when the driver finally showed up 12 minutes late, he was unapologetic and rude too. Blaming it on lack of cars and driver's, COVID and even physics. This company didn't even acknowledge that they made any mistake at all....told me if I'm not happy to get another cab company. I will.... If I could give zero stars I would. I take cabs often for work and NEED to be on schedule. Never in my entire career have I had such a bad experience with any cab company or shuttle service.... And I travel all over the world. Yellow cab Victoria you can do much better than this.

In the downtown area and needed a cab for one of our companions after a lively dinner out in downtown downtown Victoria. We called for a cab before midnight and called back to find out where it was after 45 minutes. We were placed on hold with a machine recording telling us how important we are that we should stay on hold to retain our place in the queue. Another hour passed with no one answering the call. By this time it was evident that no cab was coming. One member of our party was now sober enough to drive the fare home. By this time well after two am. Bring on UBER!!!!!!

I called the night ahead of an early morning flight to book a taxi and explained that I was travelling with my dog and a kennel and discussed if this was possible. I received a confirmation text and was good to go. The following morning when the cab is now 5 minutes late- I call and am told that the scheduled driver was allergic to dogs... that they were trying to find another ride for me but that it was going to be 15-20 minutes. Had I waited I would have missed my flight. With no other option I drove myself to the airport and parked in long term. Feel it only fair that they pay for this fee - they will not and have stopped responding to me. I think it is reasonable given the size of the company and the amount of lead time I gave them to ensure a non-allergic driver be available. Very disappointed and shocked at the lack of professionalism. I am sure they can afford $144 for my long term parking. Zero stars.
