★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. You can taste the freshness and i like the variety of specialty rolls. If ordering on evenings I'd call ahead of time as they can get pretty busy.

There have been some new Sushi places popping up in the area, and a few that are under new management, but Yanagi continues to win my takeout orders during this most current lockdown.
If I had one critique, it would be their sushi rice. I find it a little too sweet for my liking, and usually have to offset it with a bit more wasabi, but that's not always a bad thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s the highest quality sushi in the area. Some marginal quibbles but hard to go wrong here.
Got take out a second time and there was no wasabi. The fish was very good but wasabi is one of my favourite parts of the meal. It feels like they sometimes forget the little details here.
Very good quality but a little pricey for the portions. The carton of miso soup showed up more than half empty. I asked for extra wasabi and got extra picked ginger. The rolls are small. But the sushi was large and excellent. Two rolls and one order of sushi was $30 before delivery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend took me to this charming place for my birthday. He has seafood allergies but the staff helped him order a delicious food that is safe for him. I got a surprise happy birthday song and a cake with a candle from the staff. I had a really great time and enjoyed really good food. Really nice experience. Excellent customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best quality of sushi - I will start my review with that! They do get busy, so I preorder my sushi party tray ahead of time. My personal preference is - no wasabi inside the rolls, small kids can enjoy sushi as well. Love all party platters, boats are awesome, lunch specials. I have been a regular customer probably since they opened about 7-8 years ago, so I had a chance to eat inside and tasted many dishes. Thank you, I am calling you to place my order, keep it up!!! photo attached a large Sushi and Sashimi plater, fantastic !!!
